Operating a Materials Production Site for Eight Years--My Experience in Cultivating During Fa-Rectification

(Clearwisdom.net) 1. Obtaining the Fa I obtained the Fa in 1995. After I had practiced for two weeks,
all my diseases, some of which had bothered me for more than ten years,
disappeared. Master had renewed my life. I shared my experiences and told the
beauty of Dafa to my friends, family and co-workers. I was happy to spread the Fa and enjoyed studying the Fa and doing the
exercises. After I devoted myself to cultivation, the persecution was launched.
I felt the pressure and didn't know what to do. One day I ran into two fellow
practitioners. We shared our thoughts, and we all felt pained. We sat down and
read Master's teaching "What is Forbearance (Ren)?" "Forbearance is the key to improving one's xinxing. To endure
with anger, grievance, or tears is the forbearance of an everyday person who
is attached to his concerns. To endure completely without anger or grievance
is the forbearance of a cultivator." (Essentials for Further
Advancement) We read it twice, and we smiled. We had a better understanding of the Fa and
we resumed our cultivation. We studied the Fa, did the exercises, and
clarified the facts to people. 2. Being Arrested In 2000, the truth-clarification materials production site in my city was
destroyed and over a dozen practitioners were arrested, including myself. While
detained in a forced labor camp, I had the solid belief that Dafa is righteous
and Master is righteous. I followed the principles of
Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and I didn't do anything wrong. The guards
beat me, cursed me and tied me up, but they couldn't shake my belief, and
couldn't make me give up cultivation. I kept telling myself that nobody and
nothing can make me renounce Falun Gong. With these solid thoughts, I struggled
through. I was the first practitioner in that forced labor camp who was released
without being "reformed." 3. Cultivate as a Whole Body--Dafa Manifests Its Power One day, the forced labor camp guards got all the practitioners together to
watch a video, which slandered Master and Dafa. We all had a righteous thought:
We cannot let the bad video play. With this powerful righteous thought, the
video indeed couldn't play. The guards tried three different video players, but
none of them worked. They wondered, "It was fine just a minute ago. Why
doesn't it work now?" We all knew why. They tried for an hour to get the
video to work, but failed and thus had to dismiss us. We were very happy and
excited. One week later, they got us together again to watch the same video. We
decided to do the same thing. But this time, the video played. After 40 minutes,
we all had headaches. I tried to recite the Fa to eliminate the evil, but it
didn't work. Some practitioners felt sick and some threw up. The situation was
chaotic. The guards had to let us go. We asked ourselves why this time was
different and why the video played. I realized later that we were too excited
about the success the first time and the evil took advantage of our loopholes. 4. Setting up a Materials Production Site I was released in 2001. Most of the local materials production sites had been
destroyed. Practitioners didn't have access to Master's new articles, and we
didn't have any informational materials about Falun Gong. Among practitioners,
some had been "reformed," some were in difficult financial situations,
and some didn't have a good environment in their homes. I decided to set up a
materials production site to produce materials and print Master's articles for
practitioners. My financial situation was also not good. We were 40,000 yuan
in debt. I was wondering if my husband would agree to buy a computer and a
printer. I talked to my daughter and she was happy to teach me how to use this
equipment. I then talked to my husband and to my surprise he was happy about the
idea too. Than just like that, with Master's help, a family-based materials
production site was set up. At the beginning, I had many difficulties. I was 50 years old and didn't have
much knowledge of modern things. I didn't even know how to use pinyin. The
high-tech issues were a big test for me, however my thought of setting up the
materials production site was very solid, so I asked Master for help and to give
me wisdom. Soon, I learned how to operate a computer, download materials, make
photos, edit and print all kinds of materials. For the last eight years, this materials production site ran smoothly with
Master's help. 5. Righteous Thoughts Protected Me From 2001 to 2003, the local police often came to my house to harass me or
try to arrest me. I completely denied the persecution, and I also did well in
studying the Fa, doing the exercises and sending forth righteous thoughts. They
tried to arrest me a dozen times, but I always avoided it. For example, one day in 2003, over a dozen policemen in 15 cars came to my
subdivision. They surrounded my house. Hundreds of people watched what was going
on. I was retired and stayed at home. I saw what was happening, and I called my
husband and daughter, asking them not to come home. I refused to open the door
for the police. I also sent forth righteous thoughts and asked Master for help.
I looked inward for my loopholes and I realized that I didn't clarify the the
facts well to people who live in this area. I opened the window on the balcony
and shouted to people, including residents, workers and security guards, telling
them the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution. I kept shouting and
clarifying the facts. The policemen surrounded my apartment for more than 50
hours. On the third day, my husband and daughter couldn't wait any longer. They came
back to see what was going on. The policemen saw my husband and told him that he
didn't have to go to work these days--all he needed to do was to watch me and
make sure that I would not go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong during the
Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) Central Committee Conference. My husband agreed
and the policemen left. My husband was happy that all the policemen had left and he told me about the
deal. I said to him, "You made a wrong deed. You are helping the evil to
persecute me. You should go to work and not listen to them." My husband is
not a practitioner and he said, "You can do whatever you want and I won't
stop you. I won't go to work. It is a chance for me to relax." On the
second day, I found out that there were still four policemen in the subdivision
watching me. On July 20, 2003, a dozen policemen were hiding in my building. When my
husband came back home, they rushed him. "Who are you?" my husband
asked. "We are from the police department," they answered. They asked
him to open the door, but my husband didn't have the key (in his dream two days
before, Master told him not to bring the key). I heard them from inside the
house. So, I opened the window and shouted to them, "I am just a Falun Gong
practitioner who wants to be a good person and have good health. Have I done any
bad deeds that would cause you guys to persecute me like this? You want me to
open the door? Dream on." Nobody said anything. My husband left and they
followed him. They ordered my husband to open the door again. My husband clarified the
facts to them. He told them what kind of person I was before I started
practicing Falun Gong and what kind of person I am now. The police could not
achieve their goal and left. Since then, no one else has come to harass me. 6. Eliminating Attachments and Walking the Path Arranged by Master I was very busy during a certain period and two fellow practitioners stayed
in my home to help me. I am older than them and I felt that I was better than
them in my cultivation, so I talked and acted like their leader. Usually they
followed my opinions and orders. Once we discussed how many truth-clarifying
materials we needed to mail to someone. I gave some suggestions, but one
practitioner didn't agree with me and I became angry. On the second day, I asked
her to leave my house. She begged me and said, "I will listen to you in the
future." I still asked her to leave and she cried and left. The other
practitioner didn't dare to say anything to me. My daughter heard about this and
told me that I was out of line. I calmed down and looked inward based on the Fa.
I saw my shortcoming and apologized to that practitioner. She was not angry at
me and apologized to me as well. I was very moved. I told myself that I needed
to try my best to eliminate my attachments and walk the path arranged by Master. 7. Saved by Master My father-in-law is 80 years old and had been a Chinese Communist Party
member for many years. He was a provincial model worker in the 1950's and was
very loyal to the CCP. I had tried all means to convince him to quit the party,
but failed. I was frustrated but didn't give up. In 2006, he was diagnosed with
a brain disease and the doctor said he would not live long. I told my husband that only Master could help him now. I asked my husband to
bring my father-in-law to our house. But my father-in-law did not agree to come.
He wanted to finish the treatment therapy. A week later, he was not any better,
so my husband brought him to our house. While he was in our home, I held my
grandson next to him and told him about the beauty of Falun Gong. He listened to
me and said, "I was not able to sit up straight for more than thirty
minutes in the hospital, but today I have sat for four hours listening to you.
Why is there such a big change?" I gave him some informational materials
and I also read the Fa to him. A few days later, he was better. He was very
happy about the change. I took this opportunity to convince him to quit the
party and he did. I knew Master did all this. Master saved him and renewed his
life. My father-in-law is now a Falun Gong practitioner. He reads the Fa and does
the exercises every day. He also sends forth righteous thoughts with me. He
learned how to look inward when conflicts occur. He also clarifies the facts and
devotes himself to saving sentient beings. October 11, 2008
