California: Falun Gong Practitioners in Hollywood Christmas Parade (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) The 77th Hollywood Christmas Parade was held on November 30, and Falun Gong practitioners from California participated for the fourth time. More than 300 entries, including marching bands, floats, cartoon characters, etc, performed in the parade. Falun Gong's entry was the largest. The parade started at 5:00 p.m. and covered three and a half miles. Hundreds of thousands of people from all over the country saw the parade.
The Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of 100 practitioners, caught the attention of many spectators. After the band was the Falun Gong float, which was decorated with 24 lotus flowers in different sizes, the largest five-foot tall. On the sides of the float, practitioners had set up two large display board to publicize the Divine Performing Arts' upcoming shows. After the float, practitioners performed on waist drums.
The parade lasted for two hours, with local TV station KTLA Channel 5 broadcasting it live.
