Dafa Gave Me a Second Life

My name is Li Suqing. I am 75 years old and I live in Jinchang City, Gansu Province. In 2006, I was coughing with congestion in my chest, and I had difficulty breathing. In October, I was hospitalized in Baye Hospital. Although no cause was identified, the illness became more severe. In 2007, I was hospitalized twice in Jinchuan Hospital. Finally, Gansu Provincial Tumor Hospital and Lanzhou Military General Hospital experts both concluded that I had cancer of the trachea. In addition, there was cellular carcinoma in my lungs and it had rapidly spread.

Because of my advance age and poor health (I weighed less than 35 kilograms at the time), I was not a candidate for chemotherapy. After getting home from the hospital, I had chest pain, coughed, and had difficulty breathing. I sweat so heavily that I had to change clothes very often. I had pains in my stomach and chest, combined with a fever. I was unable to eat and just wanted ice water. Everyday, I just had one half a container of milk to survive. In the evening, the coughing was worse, from midnight till dawn. With my breathing difficulties, I could not just sit up straight. Everyday I had to rely on oxygen to survive, and remained half-wake most of the time.

My daughter practiced Falun Gong, and she began reading Zhuan Falun to me. On the sixth day, in a dream I saw Teacher's law bodies standing by my side and pointing at the right side of my chest. After waking up the next morning, I found I had stopped sweating. In the evening, I saw Teacher pointing at the right side of my chest once again. After waking up in the morning, I noticed that there was no more pain in my chest or my stomach, and I was able to eat. Both eating and breathing became better. On the third day, I saw Teacher pointing at the right side of my chest for the third time. After waking up, both my cough and my breathing difficulty were gone, and I was able to eat normally. Plus, the lumps under my feet were gone. I was able to walk normally and regained my energy.

My daughter told me, "It is Teacher who saved you and gave you a second life." From now on, I will study the Fa well. I am very thankful for Teacher and Dafa. After my recovery, I will tell everyone that Falun Dafa is good. I will also tell people not to believe the lies in the news media.

In the past, I had heard stories of people becoming literate within one day when learning to read Zhuan Falun. However, I had not witnessed this until recently.

There is a 71-year-old lady in Yangjia Town, Beian City, Heilongjiang Province. Just like many other elderly ladies we have met in the countryside, she is poor and had many illnesses. In fact, her condition was worse than many others--she needed help to walk because both her legs were deformed due to some illnesses in the past.

When she wanted to learn Dafa, I could not find an extra copy of Zhuan Falun, so I gave her two other Dafa books containing Teacher's overseas lectures prior to 1999. To my surprise, she said, "What can I do with these books? I am unable to read." I did not know what to say, so I told her, "Maybe you can ask someone else to read it for you."

Some time later, when I visited the village again, I found that she had already finished reading one of the Dafa books I had given her. She said nobody had taught her how to read, but she seemed to have learned how to read within one day. She then said that she once vomited some blood and since then her nose bleeds have stopped. Now her physical condition is much better than before, and she can even do some physical work.
