By Minghui/Clearwisdom reporter Cai Ju
(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of February 6, 2008, Divine Performing
Arts staged the ninth performance of the Chinese New Year Splendor at New York's
Radio City Music Hall. The show brought a special New Year's Eve gift to New
Yorkers. Ms. Lin, her husband and their six-year-old daughter, who live in Brooklyn,
celebrated the Chinese New Year's Eve at Radio City Hall. "I think the entire performance was beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I
have rarely seen such a good performance. I do not know how to describe my
feelings in words," said Ms. Lin. Her little daughter chimed in exuberantly, "I loved it!" Another spectator, Ms. Chen immigrated to New York from Mainland China two
years ago. She is six months pregnant. She said happily, "The show was
wonderful. I loved every scene and every performance. The one I liked most was
the last performance, 'Victory Drums.'" Ms. Chen laughed, "The child
I'm carrying loved it too, because he kept moving around." Ms. Jaqueline Williams-King, from the Caribbean, works at the Consulate of
the Island of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in New York. She and her
colleagues came to see the show together. Ms. Williams-King said she loved the
show. "It was really a spectacular show," she said. "It was very
professional and colorful. It was very entertaining. I loved it. The backdrops
were also beautiful.". |
