Lisa, a first grade teacher called the show "beautiful." Referring to "The Power of Awakening", where a Falun Gong practitioner and her young daughter's peaceful courage move many to step forward, Lisa said she enjoyed watching [Falun Gong] "having forgiveness and compassion, so people don't have to live like that [under persecution] in the future," "The show itself almost gave a sense of the future."

Magalee, a union fund director said, "I'm reading teachings of Lao Tzi, and this show really brings into perspective how [Chinese people's] beliefs brought them to where they are, through philosophy and culture such as dance."

Amanda Rivera, a student of cosmetology praised the vibrant colors and the erhu, which "evokes so much emotion," saying she would come back next year. Her friend Deniel May Coffebrown, who works for a law firm, said the singing "soothes the soul."
