Investment Banker: The Show Is Entertaining and Enlightening (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) The 2008 NTDTV Chinese New Year Splendor has attracted many people from the field of finance since New York is the world's financial center, and has won their admiration and praise. Investment banker Mr. Chester Rothman and his wife Victoria were among the crowd.

Mr. & Mrs. Rothman

Mr. Rothman is the Senior Managing Director of the Wenroth Capital Company. Mrs. Rothman runs a spa. This was the first time they had watched the Divine Performing Arts' show.

Mr. Rothman said, "I thought the show was very good, and I liked all the programs. The host and hostess did very well, and the scenery was breathtaking. You see, the Divine Performing Arts produces such outstanding scenery effect; it is shockingly good."

He felt the Erhu music made the audience very calm, free, and serene and carried an unbelievable beauty. "I was surprised that just two strings can produce such a rich sound. I heard of the Erhu before, but I never recognized what a special sound is produced by this two stringed instrument; how unbelievable! All music performed by the Divine Performing Arts was very peaceful."

Mrs. Rothman expressed that her favorite feature of the show was the choreography. She thought the most moving piece was "The Loyalty of Yue Fei." Mr. Rothman agreed with his wife, and his favorites were the drum programs because he enjoyed the inspiring drumming sounds. "But the most moving piece to me was the 'Risen Lotus Flower.' I was so moved by that story."

Mrs. Rothman runs a health center. She saw the Divine Performing Arts actors and actresses from her professional point of view. She thinks they carry a special beauty, a graceful beauty that naturally flows out from their movements. Their makeup was very proper and perfect. She loved the costumes and wished she could have them!

When asked what impression they thought the Splendor gave people about China, Mr. Rothman said, "When I saw the scenes of ancient China with the little bridge and running streams, I thought about the water now in China, it is no longer blue due to pollution. My son is in China right now, but I have never been there." He would rather experience the beautiful China displayed by today's Splendor.

Mr. & Mrs. Rothman are drawn by the profound inner meaning presented by the Splendor. Mr. Rothman thinks it is not easy for Americans to understand Eastern minds. He said, "The high technique dances we see in U.S. do not have stories, but the dances tonight were mostly drama. Anyway, I think this show is both entertaining and educational...and very enlightening. Telling lively stories with dance and music; it was very good and beautiful."
