Lives Saved by Dafa: Two Stories

Master Li Saved Our Lives in a Bus Accident

In the summer of 2005, Ms. Xiang, a private school vice-principal in the Jixi District of Heilungkiang Province, had gathered 30 students in Mudanjiang for a bus ride to school. When the bus was traveling the "Nine Curves and 18 Bends " along the Suifen River area, Ms. Xiang felt the bus begin to swerve violently. She saw the bus driver's face had turned white. She felt the driver had lost control and the bus would crash down the bank into the river.

There were 30 new students and a lot of baggage in the bus. Of course the human lives were most important. What could she do? Suddenly, she remembered her neighbor had told her in an emergency to recite some words. She anxiously recited those words. Urgently, silently and repeatedly she said, "Master of Falun Gong, please help us and save our lives on this bus." Suddenly, the bus slowed down and steadied itself. The bus continued sliding down but now steadily and slowly.

The bus eventually slid to a flat area from the steep bank . Miraculously, the bus had also stopped near a road. The bus driver, paralyzed with fear, was still clutching the steering wheel. Ms. Xiang cried out to her students. "Students, get off the bus immediately, we should thank the Master of Falun Gong for saving us."

A Junior High School Student Is Saved by Reciting "Falun Dafa is Good"

The following incident occurred about 8 p.m. on January 5, 2008 in Fenxi County, Shanxi Province. Li Xiaobing, a 15-year-old junior high school student, was riding his bicycle home. His friend was riding behind him on the same bike. Suddenly, a speeding car appeared heading straight at them. When the bike was hit, his friend was sent flying, and the bicycle was broken. Li's head smashed into and shattered the car's windshield. Li traveled over 20 meters in the car's windshield until it stopped. Li then slid down the glass windshield, his head bleeding badly.

The driver was afraid and ran away. The crowd that gathered thought Li would soon die from the looks of his bloody body. However, Li had remembered something a Falun Dafa practitioner had told him: When an accident happens, he should recite, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance are good." Thus, he recited "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance are good." When this happened and along with his wish for Master Li to save him, he was not scared, and his mind was calm and clear. Later, he was sent to a hospital. Except for a head cut which required about ten stitches and three minor cuts on his legs, he was unharmed. Seven days later, he had recovered completely. Everyone who understands the truth of Falun Gong knows that Master Li saved his life.
