Mayor of Tainan City, Taiwan: Divine Performing Arts Show Filled With Magnificence and Innovation (Photo)


(Clearwisdom.net) The Divine Performing Arts (DPA) will tour Taiwan, presenting 22 shows during the period from February 29 to March 20, 2008. The premiere will be held at the Tainan Municipal Cultural Center. Having watched the Holiday Wonders show presented by the DPA in New York, Tainan City Mayor Hsu Tain-Tsair praised the show as being filled with magnificence and innovation.

Mr. Hsu said, "I was very impressed by the Divine Performing Arts. The show combined the values and meaning of art as well as our culture. So it was very inspiring and increased our understanding of our culture. It was a spirit-lifting artistic performance. We look forward to such programs very much!"

Mr. Hsu felt that the show was very moving, though it was very peaceful, and filled with magnificence and innovation. He was most impressed with "Drummers of the Tang Court."

Tainan City will again co-sponsor the DPA tour in Taiwan. Mr. Hsu has been very supportive of artistic development and is happy to work with the DPA again. He looks forward to bringing Tainan citizens the experience of truthfulness, compassion and beauty.
