By a Falun Dafa Practitioner from China

(Clearwisdom.net) In 2004 with the help of practitioners from other cities, we started our own truth-clarification material production site. During the process of media development, Practitioners A, B and C began to have conflicts between them about money. The conflicts became greater and greater. We weren't able to eliminate them through identifying our attachments, and soon after this, the evil took advantage of our loopholes and I was subsequently arrested along with my fellow practitioners, one after another.

Twenty days later, two practitioners were freed due to their righteous thoughts, but I was sentenced the same day. At that moment I remembered Master's poem "Don't Be Sad" in Hong Yin II. I calmed my mind and looked inward. I found many attachments that were difficult at first to notice. For example, I only focused on doing things, didn't study the Fa well and was judgmental toward fellow practitioners. Once I found the attachments, I had righteous thoughts and began to clarify the truth to other cell members. Then I found that they had been poisoned by the evil Party at quite a deep level. I felt very sorry for them because they also came here for the Fa. I had to save them.

I told them about the beauty of Dafa and the spread of Dafa around the world. I let them know what Falun Gong was really about. After I told them the facts, one person who had high blood pressure and heart disease obtained the Fa. She then conducted herself based on Master's Fa. Soon she recovered from her illness. Another person knew that she had spirit possession. I explained to her the part of the Fa about spirit possession. She was very afraid, but I knew that it was the possessing spirit who was afraid. I told her not be afraid from the bottom of her heart and Master would eliminate the spirits. Along with a fellow practitioner, we began to send righteous thoughts. At the very beginning she had a headache and was scared. We explained to her that we had the Fa and Master, and she did not need to be afraid. Half an hour later she no longer had the headache. She saw that the spirits which had possessed her for years had left her, and she felt comfortable. She truly experienced the power of Dafa and also began to cultivate.

There was another girl who liked to listen to us reciting the Fa and practiced with us during the night. Once the evil police saw her through the surveillance monitor, they asked her to identify who had asked her to practice. She didn't answer. The evil police cursed and put shackles on her, but she still refused to say anything. Other people worried about her, but she said, "I want to study Dafa. I'm not afraid."

After I clarified the truth, people in the cell all realized that Falun Gong is good. Sometimes they practiced with me. They didn't call me by my name, but instead they would call "Falun Dafa is good." Then I realized that it was me that they were calling. At this moment the test came. Someone reported to the head of the jail that I was leading people to practice Falun Gong.

But bad things can turn into good things. The opportunity of clarifying the truth also came. I said to the head that if all the prisoners began to cultivate Falun Gong, then he wouldn't need to worry about how to control them any more, because Master taught us to be good, and they would be good persons themselves. After the head began to understand the truth, he didn't forbid us to practice any more. Several days later I was transferred to another cell. I felt that the cell was full of evil factors, and I even had difficulty breathing. I told them the facts but they wouldn't listen. I didn't give up, because I didn't want to leave anyone behind.

A few days later an evil policewoman came and brought pieces of paper and pens, asking me to write the Guarantee Statement. Under Master's protection, my righteous thoughts were very strong. I told her that there was nothing wrong with being a good person and that I wouldn't betray Dafa. Several days later they transferred me to another cell. There was a 16-year-old girl who was jailed for theft. I asked her whether she knew anything of Falun Gong; she said no. I told her that Falun Gong taught people to be good, kind and honest, because that was the basic nature of a human being. Finally she understood and said that if she had learned about Falun Gong earlier, she wouldn't have done anything immoral. From then on she began to study and practice Falun Gong with me. Seeing another life walk into the Fa, I once again felt the great mercy of our Master.

During the year that I was held at the detention center, I met many fellow practitioners. They were in different states of cultivation. Some of them walked out of their confinement using their righteous thoughts, and some were sentenced because they didn't have very strong righteous thoughts. I made up my mind to let go of all human sentimentality and continued to do what Dafa practitioners should do. Without strong righteous thoughts, simply clarifying the truth cannot save sentient beings. Under Master's protection and with the help of fellow practitioners' righteous thoughts, I became free and continued on the path of saving sentient beings.
