Fulfilling Our Mission in This Last Moment of Fa-Rectification

(Clearwisdom.net) A practitioner wrote in the article "Waking Up the
People Next to You," "When we heard that Lord Buddha would come down
to rectify the Fa, we knelt down under Lord Buddha's feet and made vows to come
down to help teacher during the Fa-Rectification. The gods in heaven were all
moved to tears by our magnificent behavior. After we finished our vows, we
reminded each other that the clear-minded individuals should help wake up those
who become lost in delusion. We must remember this: If we miss this opportunity,
we will never have another chance to go home." The Fa-Rectification period
is near the end. When we all board the boat of the Fa and sail smoothly back
home with teacher, have we remembered those gods who came down here with us from
the remote holy heaven to help teacher during the Fa-Rectification? They have
truly become lost in the delusion of the world and forgotten their missions
here. We should not leave them here. We should fulfill the vows we made before
we came, wake them up, and tell them it is time to go home. Teacher rectifies the Fa and reconstructs the colossal firmament. The new
cosmos is born during teacher's Fa-Rectification. But the beings who resist Fa-rectification
cannot go into the new cosmos and they will be eliminated during the Fa-Rectification.
This is the principle of the cosmos. Teacher delayed the end of the Fa-Rectification
period again and again because our Dafa disciples hadn't yet met the standard as
a whole. Merciful Teacher does not want to lose a single disciple and does not
want the beings, who intentionally came down from higher levels to help teacher
during the Fa-Rectification, to be eliminated. Teacher can finish saving the
sentient beings with just a wave of His hand. Why did He leave this for Dafa
disciples to do? Teacher wants us to establish our mighty virtue while saving
sentient beings. The old forces persecution of Dafa and Dafa disciples has already lasted for
eight years, and in some areas it still continues to a certain extent. This is a
very serious thing. We should really wake up. During our cultivation in the Fa-Rectification
period, teacher bestowed us with unlimited wisdom and divine power. But in
recent years, I could not always treat the Fa as teacher and examine each and
every deed while clarifying the truth and persuading people to
withdraw from the CCP. When things were smooth and effective during
truth-clarification, I was very happy and thought that I had saved this person.
I forgot that actually it was Teacher who saved the person. The attachment of
self-absorption is very easily used by the evil. When I could not persuade the
person and was misunderstood or even treated rudely by the person, my attachment
of pride was hurt and I was very upset. I did not even want to continue to
clarify the truth to people face to face. I had forgotten what Teacher said,
"Tempering your will is the key to truly raising your level" (Zhuan
Falun, Translated by North American Practitioners) When another practitioner
and I rode a motorcycle to a remote area to distribute truth-clarifying
materials and post truth-clarifying signs, we had to avoid pedestrians for
security reasons, and we also faced pressure from our family members who were
not practitioners. I felt it was very difficult and bitter. I had forgotten what
teacher said, "A Great Enlightened One fears no hardship When I distributed truth-clarifying materials and suspected I was being
followed (which actually was a false impression), I had a strong attachment of
fear. I immediately went back home and did not dare to go out for several days.
I rationalized that this was acceptable behavior for security reasons. I had
forgotten what Teacher said, "When disciples have ample righteous thoughts When I read Minghui/Clearwisdom articles stating that some practitioners were
reported while clarifying the truth by people who were deceived, and were
arrested and detained to be persecuted, I felt that it was not worth it for Dafa
disciples to suffer such great tribulations to save such a person. When I saw
that a fellow practitioner's cultivation status was not good, I was very anxious
for them and sometimes I even became angry. I had forgotten what Teacher told
us, "Compassion can harmonize Heaven and Earth, ushering in spring Since July 20, 1999, when the CCP started persecuting Dafa and Dafa
disciples, Dafa disciples displayed various different cultivation states. Some
became more determined to steadfastly cultivate and wrote without reservation to
the authorities for the sake of Dafa's reputation. Some were afraid of standing
up for the truth and hid at home to cultivate. Some gave up cultivation and did
nothing. Some even turned against Dafa. Under these circumstances, Teacher
published a lot of articles to guide us and always protected us. He also
constantly encouraged the disciples who did not step forward or did not
diligently move forward. Teacher guides us on how to validate the Fa well and
save more sentient beings during the Fa-Rectification, and shows us the Buddha's
infinite grace and immense benevolence. We always talked about "believing
in Master and the Fa" and "solidifying righteous thoughts," but
how much have we followed that during cultivation? When I had difficulties, I
forgot I was a Dafa disciple and all my human notions came out. My righteous
thoughts and mercy as a practitioner were all gone at that moment. When I looked
back, I felt very ashamed. I had this kind of attachment. Maybe other
practitioners also have it. The attachments and human notions assist in the evil
forces' persecution of Dafa and Dafa disciples to this day. If we keep strong
righteous thoughts at all times, can the evil still keep up the persecution?
Practitioners' righteous thoughts and mercy are very important. After I studied the Fa more and gained a deeper understanding of the Fa, I
was able to gradually give up the attachments and solidify my righteous
thoughts. The Fa taught me to look inward when things happen and think of others
first. Although I did not all of a sudden become selfless, I was able to take
troubles without complaint and regret. In the past, when the housework was too
much and used up, or reduced my time for studying the Fa and practicing the
exercises, I felt angry and helpless. I always thought that it would be great if
we could leave society and cultivate in a quiet, remote, place. Now I use
righteous thoughts in handling this, and arrange everything well. I understand
that Teacher chose the most complicated environment for us to cultivate the Fa
in order to save sentient beings and allow us to cultivate solidly to a higher
level. In the past when I could not persuade people face to face, I complained
about them in my mind. I even had the bad thought that they could just wait to
be eliminated. Now if I cannot persuade them immediately, I will keep trying
until I persuade them. If I really cannot persuade them, I feel very sad for
them. I further understood the Fa principle, "...whether it's hard depends on the person" and "'...the Great Law is boundless'--how your cultivation goes all
depends on your mind." (Zhuan Falun, Translated by North America Practitioners) If we can really use the Fa to guide our actions and thoughts at all times,
the miracle of the Fa will be displayed. Now the root of the Chinese Communist Party has already been pulled out. The
persecution is just the expression of some leftover bad elements. But if we do
not send forth our righteous thoughts, it will not disappear. As far as our
righteous thoughts can reach, all the remaining bad elements will be eliminated.
Whether the persecution will finish as soon as possible all depends on our Dafa
disciples' righteous thoughts. We should be responsible to ourselves, be
responsible to Dafa and be responsible to sentient beings. Saving sentient
beings is our responsibility and mission. Fellow practitioners, human notions
are the biggest barriers on our path of cultivation. Let us bravely eliminate
