Japan: Ancient City of Osaka Welcomes Divine Performing Arts, Government Officials Wish the Shows a Great Success (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) The Divine Performing Arts of New York Company successfully concluded its performances in Tokyo and Nagoya, the first two stops on its Asia tour, and arrived at the third stop, Osaka. Four shows were staged at the NHK Osaka Hall on February 19 to 20, 2008. Prior to the performances, government officials in the Kinki area where Osaka is located sent congratulations to wish the performances a great success.

The following are messages of congratulations from several government officials:

Yuji Fujii, Member of the Japanese House of Representatives

Mr. Fujii sincerely congratulated the company on the grand opening of the 2008 Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular.

He stated that the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular is an amazing stage performance that combines colorful and beautiful costumes, graceful and elegant classical dances, musical instruments that transfer joy and happiness, and presentation of kindness and beauty. He sincerely thanked the New Tang Dynasty Japanese Co., Ltd., the performers and all related personnel for their dedication and devotion to the performances.

Mr. Fujji wholeheartedly hopes that the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular will become a symbol of a society that is full of peace and happiness.

Hirofumi Hirano, Member of the House of Representatives

Mr. Hirano stated, " As the Spring is coming, I sincerely congratulate the 2008 Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular on their performances around the world.

"I very much appreciate that Divine Performing Arts will once again bring music and wonderful dances to the Japanese audience, following their performance here last year.

"Aesthetics and pure heart and soul are fine qualities that everybody should have. I'm sure that the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular will awaken people to these qualities, and enhance the development of the world's culture and inspire humanity's common aspiration for peace and love.

"The Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular, based on divine inspiration and presented in the form of song and dance, has had a great influence in the rediscovery of the divinely-inspired culture of China.

Mr. Tanaka, Nara Prefecture Council Member stated, "The origin of the Japanese culture has Chinese colors and the same pleasing quality, making me feel close to it. I warmly welcome the arrival of the Divine Performing Arts."

Mr. Fujii, Member of the Hyogo Prefecture Council, sincerely congratulated the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular and wished them a great success. He stated, "It is the first time for me to appreciate the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular. I'm sure that through the wonderful artistic performance, the prospect of the friendship that China and Japan should have will display in front of me.
