Ms. Zhang Guizhi Tortured to Death in Liaoning Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Guizhi lived in Benxi City, Liaoning Province. On March 9, 2007, she was followed by police from the Pingshan District Station when clarifying the truth to people and arrested. The police also ransacked her home and took her personal belongings. On June 11, 2007, the Pingshan District Court sentenced Ms. Zhang. Her family saw her being carried by two people into the courtroom, for she was very weak. The court requested money from her family, saying it was for her medical treatment. They took Ms. Zhang to the Liaoning Province Women's Prison in Shenyang City. Around February 7, 2008 (Chinese New Year), the Prison Administration called her family to pick her up. Her family took her directly to the hospital for emergency treatment, but she died on February 13, 2008.
