Ms. He Chengsu is over 40 years old and is a resident of Southeast Street in
Yi County, Liaoning Province. She began practicing Falun Gong in 1998. After
July 20, 1999, when the Jiang Zemin regime began the persecution of Falun Dafa,
Ms. He was repeatedly persecuted by various means, including illegal
arrests, beatings, detention, and being "illegally sentenced" to
forced labor. She also had 2,400 yuan extorted from her.
On July 20, 1999, in order to clarify the truth, Ms. He went to
Beijing to help appeal for Falun Gong. She was subsequently taken into custody
and confined in Beijing's Fengtai Stadium. She was allowed to go home after two

On September 11, 2004, during the night, county national security team leader
Wang Zhanlin brought several people to search her home, but did not find
anything that they could arrest her for. Wang asked if she practiced Falun Gong,
and she replied, "Yes." For her honest answer, she was again detained
