Additional Persecution News from China - February 1, 2008 (28 Reports)
(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of
persecution that took place in 19 cities or counties in 7 provinces. In this
report, 17 practitioners were subjected to brutal treatment during their
detention and at least 30 practitioners were illegally arrested. 1. [Chongqing City] Practitioner Ms. Jiang Yulan Has Been Arrested Ms. Jiang Yulan is currently being held at the Wulong County Public Security
Detention Center. Ms. Jiang Yulan and her husband, Mr. Yang Si, were both laid
off from a fee collecting station of the Public Transport Commission. Now, the
whole family relies on 800 yuan a month, coming from Mr. Yang's
salary as a taxi driver. This is very hard for the family. 2. [Jilin Province] Practitioners Held at Changchun City Prisons Have Been
Transferred to Meihe and Other Prisons for Further Illegal Detention On January 28, 2008, with the assistance from the Changchun City Police
Department, the Changchun City Prison secretly transferred the imprisoned Falun
Gong practitioners to prisons in Meihe, Jiaohe and other places. The
practitioners were not allowed to take any of their personal belongings,
including their clothes, with them. During the transfer, everyone was forced to
wear handcuffs. 3. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Desheng Is to Be Sent to a
Forced Labor Camp Practitioner Mr. Liu Desheng was arrested by the National Security Devision
of the Daqing Police Department and the Datong District Police Department on
December 12, 2007. He is currently awaiting trial out of custody. It was learned
on January 30 that the Datong District Police Department intended to send him to
a forced labor camp. 4. [Beijing City] Ms. Wu Fangling Arrested at Work by National Security
Division Officers On January 29, 2008, practitioner Ms. Wu Fangling from Yanqing County was
forcefully taken away from work by four policemen including Jiang Shuliang and
Li Aimin from Yanqing County National Security Division. They confiscated her
computer, cell phone, and books. She is being held at the Yanqing County
Detention Center. 5. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Mo Chaojian Has Been Arrested Practitioner Dr. Mo Chaojian, a doctor from Zibo No. 3 Hospital, was arrested
by Zhangdian District 610 Office personnel the evening of January
27, 2008. His home was ransacked and a computer, a printer, cash and Falun Dafa
"truth-clarification materials" were confiscated. No one knows the
whereabouts of Dr. Mo since his arrest. 6. [Renqiu City] Ms. Li Rujuan and Six Other Practitioners Have Been
Illegally Detained A number of practitioners from Huabei Petroleum Administration Bureau and
Renqiu City were arrested in October 2007. Seven practitioners, Ms. Li Rujuan,
Ms. Pan Liping, Ms. Xu Yufeng, Mr. Li Yaozong, Ms. Jiang Qiulai, Ms. Li Runhui
and Ms. Cui Yinxia, are still being detained. In December, 2007, Hejian City Court illegally put Ms. Li Rujuan on trial at
the Huabei Petroleum Administration Bureau Detention Center. On January 17, 2008, Renqiu City Court illegally tried practitioners Ms. Pan
Liping and Ms. Xu Yufeng from the Huabei Petroleum Administration Bureau. On January 25, 2008, Mr. Li Yaozong from Xing'an Village, Renqiu City was
illegally tried for the second time, but his family was not notified. On December 11, 2007 Ms. Li Runhui from the No. 2 Oil Production Factory of
Huabei Petroleum Administration Bureau was taken into custody on the street by
officers from Baxi Police Sub-station under the Jizhong Police Department. She
is now being held in Langfang Braiwashing Center. On January 21, 2008, Ms. Cui Yinxia from Macun High School, Renqiu City, was
reported while putting up truth-clarification materials and was arrested by
officers from Xingzhong Police Station. They took her to the Renqiu City
Detention Center. Now Ms. Cui Yinxia is on a hunger strike to protest the
illegal detention. Ms. Li Rujuan, Ms. Pan Liping and Ms. Xu Yufeng are currently being held at

86-13582678296 7. [Xingji City, Hebei Province] Mr. Ji Zhun Has Been Arrested Practitioner Mr. Ji Zhun from Liu Zhang Village, Jiu Chengzheng Township was
arrested by Jiucheng Police Station officers. Jiucheng Police Station: 86-311-83181102, 86-311-83183480 8. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Lei Suqiong Has Been Arrested On the afternoon of January 26, 2008, practitioner Ms. Lei Suqiong was
reported while handing out truth-clarification materials at Huayang Township,
Chengdu City, and was then arrested by policemen from Huayang Police Station.
There has been no news about her since. 9. [Neimenggu] Mr. Li Jiancheng Has Been Arrested Practitioner Mr. Li Jiancheng from Kalaqinqi was arrested on January 25,
2008. 10. [Jilin Province] Mr. Liu Xiujing Is Being Persecuted at Chaoyanggou
Forced Labor Camp Officials from the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City are
illegally persecuting practitioner Mr. Liu Xiujing. His high blood pressure
reached 240, however, the forced labor camp still refused to release him for
treatment. 11. [Haicheng City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Tian Baodong Is
Paralyzed as a Result of the Persecution In the later half of December, 2007, Mr. Tian Baodong's family received a
notice from the forced labor camp informing them that Mr. Tian had been
diagnosed as suffering from a muscle neural injury. In other words, he was
paralyzed. The forced labor camp agreed to release him on bail for medical
treatment, however, the release has been delayed for three weeks with the excuse
that the Provincial Forced Labor Bureau did not approve the application. Mr.
Tian's family went there several times to request Mr. Tian's release, but all
their efforts were to no avail. 12. [Fusun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Deng Yuqing and Ms. Guo Qinglan Have
Been Illegally Arrested On January 30, 2008, practitioner Mr. Deng Yuqing from Xinbin Township,
Fushun City and his wife, Ms. Guo Qinglan, were arrested and taken to the
National Security Division of Xinbing County Police Department. 13. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] A Woman Practitioner Has Been
Illegally Detained A woman practitioner, a nurse from the No. 202 People's Liberation Army
Hospital, is currently being illegally held at the Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing
Center, Fushun City. 14. [Tianjin City] Ms. Yu Guiping and Several Other Practitioners Have Been
Arrested On the evening of January 30, 2008, practitioners Ms. Wei Lianhua, Ms. Qin
Yueli, Ms. Zhang Qiuyan, Ms. Xun Boyun from Huangkou Township in Tianjin City,
Ms. Yu Guiping from Dahuangbao Township and taxi driver Mr. Gong Jingwang were
reported while clarifying the truth in Yangezhuang Village, Baodi District,
Cuihuangkou Town, Tianjin City. They were later arrested by policemen from the
Baodi District. The homes of six of the practitioners were then ransacked. 15. [Shanghai City] Ms. Jiang Linying Has Been Arrested At 10:00 a.m. on January 10, 2007, practitioner Ms. Jiang Linying was
arrested by officers from Sitang Police Station in Baoshan District. 16. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xiao Jing and Her Husband Have Been
Arrested On January 26, 2008, practitioner Ms. Xiao Jing and her husband were
arrested. The two of them are being held at the Jimo City Detention Center. 17. [Qufu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Hou Junhua Has Been Arrested On January 25, 2008, practitioner Ms. Hou Junhua, over 40 years old, an
employee from Qufu Textile Mill, was arrested while handing out
truth-clarification materials. 18. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Mr. Duan Dedao Has Been Arrested by
the 610 Office On January 29, 2008, Ma Yuliang, Head of the Duozhuang Township 610 Office in
Mengyin County, and his men forced their way into Mr. Duan Dedao's home in
Dongduozhuang Village, Duozhuang Township. They arrested Mr. Daun and ransacked
his home. They confiscated a laptop computer and some Falun Dafa books. Mr.
Daun's whereabouts is unknown at this time. Li Guang, Head of Duozhuang 610 Office: 86-539-4588566 19. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Ms. Han Liping and Mr. Chen Xiaodong Have
Been Illegally Arrested At 8:00 p.m., January 30, 2008, practitioners Ms. Han Liping and Mr. Chen
Xiaodong were arrested by policemen from Xinglong County while installing a New
Tang Dynasty Television antenna near Xinglong County Railway Station. Their car
was confiscated along with two big dish antennas, 10 small antennas and some
other accessories, as well as truth-clarification materials, CDs and 2,000
"yuan" cash. Dong Zhenzhang, Head of Xinglong County Police Department: 86-314-5057630 20. [Chongqing City] Ms. Tang Taken into Custody at Her Home In the morning on January 28, 2008, practitioner Ms. Tang from Tangyuanju,
Nanan District, was arrested from home. 21. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xun Yuying Has Been Transferred from
Yaojia Detention Center and Her Whereabouts Is Still Unknown 22. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Yaqin Was Arrested on the
Afternoon of January 24, 2008 and Her Whereabouts Is Unknown 23. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang] Ms. Gao Guofeng, Ms. Qi Jinling and Ms. Zhang
Cuijuan Have Been Persecuted at Qianjin Forced Labor Camp Two policemen from the No. 2 Division, Qianjin Forced Labor Camp, Harbin
City, who persecuted practitioners: Huo Shuping, Division Head, police No. 2341136, Telephone: 86-13936202056 24. [Beijing City] The National Division Illegally Searched Beijing Jinkui
Company in the Name of Arresting Practitioners At 9:00 a.m. on January 24, 2008, Beijing City National Security Department
and Hepingli Police Station illegally searched the Jinkui Company. The policemen
searched all the employees of the company and confiscated all their cell phones
and other communication tools. The police cut off the company's electricity and
telephone connections, smashed open the safe, and took away all the cash (the
exact amount is currently unknown) and accounting books. The offices, workshops
and employees' dormitories were in total disarray. At noon, the police detained
all the employees, restricted their personal freedom, and illegally interrogated
them. The employees were not allowed to drink water or sleep. They were only
given half a bowl of noodles the following day at noon. The detention exceeded
24 hours. On the afternoon of January 25, 16 employees were released and they were
forced to swear at the founder of Falun Dafa, Mr. Li Hongzhi. If they refused,
they would not be released. Some of them had been beaten up. A dozen or so other
employees were still illegally detained and their families were not notified.
Many of these employees were not Falun Gong practitioners. Now they are being
held in Changping Detention Center. 25. [Tianjin City] Mr. Li Lixin and Mr. Song Have Been Arrested Practitioner Mr. Li Lixin and Mr. Song from Beichen District, Tianjin City,
were arrested by policemen from the National Security Division and Yixingfu
Police Station. Their computers, printers, truth-clarification materials, over
6,000 yuan cash and two large dish antennas they used to receive NTDTV were
confiscated. They are currently being held at the Beichen Police Sub-department. 26. [Guangan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Xueshu Has Been Illegally
Arrested Practitioner Ms. Liu Xueshu, over 50 years old, lives on North Qujiang Road,
Guang'an District, Sichuan Province. In the afternoon on January 28, 2008, Ms.
Liu was arrested by the police in Binjiang Road, Guang'an District. She is being
held at the Guang'an Detention Center. Guang'an City 610 Office: 86-826-2334610 Guang'an City Police Department: 86-826-2332464, 86-826-2396351 27. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Xiaofeng Has Been Arrested Officers from Fumin Police Station, Fushun City, arrested Ms. Wang Xiaofeng
and Ms. Wang Xiaoyun on September 17, 2007. The two practitioners were severely
tortured before being taken to the notorious Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. The policemen also arrested practitioners Ms. Kong Fanxiao on November 24,

86-413-2332992 28. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Dong Yanmin and Ms. Kang Guirong Have
Been Arrested In the afternoon on January 2008, Liu Baoxiang, Head of the Dong'anzhuang
Township, Shenzhou City, and seven or eight policemen forced their way into Ms.
Dong Yanmin's home in Xijingming Village. They confiscated Falun Dafa books and
truth-clarification materials. Ms. Dong was taken to Dong'anzhuang Township
Government and had 2,500 yuan extorted from her. She was released the following
day. In the afternoon on January 17, 2008, Li Zhongliang, a policeman from
Dong'anzhuang Township Police Station, led a group of people to go to Ms. Kang
Guirong's home. They ransacked her home and took away two copies of
truth-clarification materials. She was then taken to Dong'anzhuang Township
Police Station. She was only released after having 1,000 yuan extorted from her.
