The Circumstances of Six Imprisoned Practitioners from Anda City (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) The following is an account of the situation of six Falun Dafa practitioners from Anda City who are currently illegally detained:

Mr. Jiang Zengchao

Mr. Jiang Zengchao, a 33-year-old practitioner, lived with his parents in the Xincun Section, Xincun Township, Qinggang County, Anda City in Heilongjiang Province. He started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996, but on July 20, 1999, Jiang Zemin began the illegal persecution of Falun Gong. In September 1999, Mr. Jiang made an appeal for justice for Falun Gong according to the law, and on September 12, 1999, he was taken from Beijing by officers from the Anda City Police Department and "illegally detained" at a detention center for three days. There he suffered many kinds of torture and was beaten mercilessly. He was forced to wear heavy shackles that left scars. Shortly after his release, Mr. Jiang was imprisoned in the Qinggang County Police Department for three weeks. On November 8, 1999, he was arrested by several policemen including Li Hongkuan from the Chaoyang local police station in Anda City and taken to the Anda City Detention Center, where he was held illegally for over five months. In April 2000, he was taken to Suihua Forced Labor Camp and imprisoned for one and a half years. Upon his release, Mr. Jiang Zengchao feared another round of persecution so he left his parents' home to live in Panjing City, Liaoning Province. His landlord turned him into the authorities and he was once again arrested, this time by the Panjing Municipal Police Department. After being imprisoned for over nine months, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison, without any legal procedures having been followed. He is currently imprisoned in the Fourth Ward of the Second Dabei Prison in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province.

Mr. Chen Chunlin and Mr. Zhang Zhi were arrested because they clarified the truth about Falun Dafa and exposed the Chinese Communist Party's lies. They suffered torture in detention and are presently being held illegally in Daqing Prison.

Practitioners Mr. Sheng Yanjun and his brother, Mr. Sheng Yanqin, are in Suihua Forced Labor Camp. Their only "crime" was that they behaved as good people and clarified the truth about Dafa.

On March 22, 2005, officers from the local police station for the Fularji District, Qiqihar City,

coerced the family of practitioner Ms. Wang Shuxin to sign an illegal arrest notice, and threatened to sentence Ms. Wang to five years in prison. Ms. Wang was arrested by local police from the Fularji District on December 8, 2004 and suffered imprisonment and torture simply because she believes in Zhen-Shan-Ren (Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance).

On December 8, 2004, shortly after 3:00 p. m., a group of police from the local Fularji District police station went to Wanda Market in Anda City and forced the market's radio announcer to make an announcement that Ms. Wang Shuxin was to report to the office. The police then handcuffed Ms. Wang and took her to the police station in Xinxing. Fulaerji District police officers interrogated Ms. Wang, conducted a body search, and confiscated 2,000 yuan she was carrying, as well as the key to her home. They then illegally entered her home and confiscated her personal property, including a computer and two motherboards belonging to her son.

That same evening, officers from the local police station in the Fularji District took Ms. Wang Shuxin to Daqing City, tortured her to extort information, and later took her to the Fularji District Detention Center. She was illegally sentenced to five years in prison and taken to Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison.
