Our Goal Is to Truly Save People

(Clearwisdom.net) In an experience sharing article on the Minghui website, a fellow practitioner discussed Teacher's new guidance on saving people in "Fa Teaching Given to the Australian Practitioners." Based on Teacher's guidance, the practitioner stressed two points: first, the urgency of saving people, and second, the necessity of acknowledging that Falun Dafa is good and withdrawing from the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. People who clearly understand these things will have secure futures and will be saved. Some practitioners in my area also share this view. I would like to discuss my own understanding with my fellow practitioners.

When some local practitioners and I were sharing our understandings recently, one practitioner said, "We don't really need to ask people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. As long as a person knows that Falun Dafa is good, he or she will be saved." Two other practitioners agreed with him. But I thought this argument was flawed and that it missed a fundamental point. When we clarify the truth to people or advise them to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, we do these things in order to save them. We should not let human notions lead us to focus on superficial wording or to take extreme measures. Doing so would only waste our time and cause trouble.

I believe that, as Falun Dafa disciples, we should not understand Teacher's words too narrowly. Clarifying the truth face-to-face is very difficult in and of itself. Some practitioners have not yet clarified the truth face-to-face or advised people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. In "Fa Teaching Given to the Australian Practitioners," Teacher stresses how difficult it is to save people nowadays. You must speak persuasively, with earnest words and a kind heart, just to save a single person. Teacher understands well that today's people are not easy to save, yet we still find excuses to slack off. Teacher also mentions that some practitioners study the Fa, not for the sake of improving themselves, but to confirm their own attachments, which is a form of self-justification.

When I clarify the truth and advise people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, I sometimes run into the kind of person who acknowledges that Falun Dafa is good and is not opposed to Falun Dafa. At the same time, he says that the CCP has treated him well, so he will not withdraw from it or its affiliated organizations. Can you say that this person is saved? I believe that when a person believes from the bottom of his or her heart that Falun Dafa is good, and also withdraws from the CCP and its affiliated organizations, only then is he or she saved. I believe that we must take responsibility for sentient beings, and that only by helping them clearly understand the facts can we truly save them.

Let's follow Teacher's guidance to study the Fa more deeply with calm hearts and clear minds, and thoroughly study Teacher's scriptures, both past and present, for the Fa is coherent, harmonious, and forever unchanging. As Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples who assist our Teacher, it is our ultimate responsibility and mission to harmonize with what Teacher wants, fulfill our prehistoric vows, do the three things well, and save more sentient beings.

The purpose of this article is not to find fault with my fellow practitioners, but rather to share my personal understanding so that we may improve together and advance as one body. My own level is limited, so kindly point out anything improper.
