Finding My Shortcomings by Observing a Fellow Practitioner's Upright Demeanor

(Clearwisdom.net) One time I met a practitioner who was seemingly ordinary and hadn't done anything famous. From observing her, however, I found where I fell short in my belief in Master and the Fa. She had harmonized her environment and did the three things in a dignified and upright manner. Since the beginning of the persecution, her family has supported her doing the three things. People around her also understand her. She does not have the attachment to either showing off her achievements or to preventing someone from discovering her work. When she made truth-clarifying materials, she did it so naturally, as though she were taking care of daily business. If other people came to her home, she just naturally tidied it up without any intention of preventing what she had been doing from being discovered. When she clarified the truth or made truth-clarification materials, she behaved as naturally as though she was eating.

Master mentioned that everything in ordinary society is the result of Dafa disciples' thoughts. Then, if we all believe in Master and the Fa, why are some practitioners still arrested or persecuted? Actually, while talking about believing in Master and the Fa, we still do Dafa work with ordinary people's notions. When we do the three things, do we really feel comfortable in following Master's words? Or, are we still worrying, thinking of what we might face if something goes wrong, or trying to show ourselves off? In fact, I realized that our dignified and upright manner does not require any approval or acknowledgment from other people. If we show ourselves off, our level will drop. If we have the intention of preventing other people from discovering what we do, others can also sense it. We can melt into the Fa only after giving up these human notions and selfishness. Therefore, when I observed my fellow practitioner doing the three things in a relaxed and peaceful manner, I realized that if we do the three things in a human way, we are just human. In reality, then, we do not truly believe in Master and the Fa.

Affected by my fellow practitioner, I worked on my level of belief in Master and the Fa. I used the Fa to guide my words and behavior, and I never let doubts take advantage when following Master's words. Now I can feel my strong thoughts and supernatural power.
