(Clearwisdom.net) New York State Senator John L. Sampson issued the following proclamation to recognize New Tang Dynasty Television. The proclamation said: we have an organization worthy of our highest respect and esteem.

Whereas, a great state is only as great as those individuals and groups who perform exemplary service on behalf of their community, whether through unique achievement in professional or other endeavors, or simply through a lifetime of good citizenship; and

Whereas, New Tang Dynasty Television began its broadcasts to North America in 2002, and has earned respect among the Chinese communities, as well as other communities in New York. Broadcasts are seen by over 200 million in North America, 100 million in Europe and 40 million who own private satellite dishes in mainland China; and

Whereas, New Tang Dynasty Television began a global broadcast in July 2003, and

Whereas, New Tang Dynasty Television has fostered a large understanding between Chinese and Western cultures by providing viewers with accurate and objective information, the New Tang Dynasty Television also helps the Chinese population residing abroad to adapt and assimilate to mainstream society; and

Whereas, New Tang Dynasty Television is presenting it's fifth annual Chinese New Year Splendor to celebrate the Chinese New Year: "Xin Nan Kui La," The Year of the Rat, at the Radio City Music Hall from January 30^th to February 9^th, 2008; Now Therefore, Be It

Resolved, that I, New York State Senator John L. Sampson, recognize that in New Tang Dynasty Television, we have an organization worthy of our highest respect and esteem; and be it further

Resolved, that a copy of this proclamation be transmitted to New Tang Dynasty Television during today's event.
