Hotel Concierge: "Two Thumbs-Up!" (Photo)
(Clearwisdom.net) Sorin and Sara attended the third show of the Chinese
New Year Splendor, and they shared their thoughts on the show with the
reporter. Sorin, a performing arts enthusiast, is a hotel concierge, and part of his
job is recommending activities for his guests. Sara is a fashion designer. Sorin and Sara Sorin's favorite program was "Drummers of the Tang
Court." "I'd say everybody loved it. I also liked 'Nymphs of the Sea.'
The nymphs in the sea dancing among the waves, as the blue fans and light silk
created a water current. It was just so beautiful and original," said Sorin. Sara was impressed by the dance "The Risen Lotus Flower," which
depicted a young Falun Gong practitioner being beaten to death by the CCP police
for protecting her two friends, and subsequently her soul ascending to Heaven.
"The girl looked so delicate, but she made such a sacrifice for her
friends. It made me cry, but [the ending] left me gratified." Sara had not
heard about Falun Gong or the persecution before, and she expressed that it was
indeed important to raise awareness about this.As a music lover, Sorin enjoyed
the Erhu performance. He said that it was "magnificent" and
"impressive." He said that the pieces in the show were
"unique" and "unforgettable."When asked if he would
recommend the show to his guests, Sorin said, "It's such a unique
experience that it's hard to give it a rating relative to other shows.
Regardless, I would recommend it everyone. But if I had to give it a rating, I
would say, 'Two thumbs up!'" Posting date: 2/9/2008
