(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of March 7, 2008, the Divine Performing Arts New York Company presented the fourth Chinese Spectacular show at the Kaohsiung County Labor Recreation Center, the second stop on its tour in Taiwan. People from all walks of life attended the show and expressed their congratulations. Deputy business manager Ms. Wu Hsiu-Chu from China Trust Securities and her family attended the show and commented that the theme of the performance was very clear, particularly the scene with the three words "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" on the rear screen, and left the deepest impression on her.

Backdrops are Incredible, and the Songs Purify Peoples' Hearts

Ms. Wu said that she had seen so many performances, but this was the first time she had seen a stage background that blended with the dance performances, creating an effect of ascending to the sky, and synchronization of the performer's shooting arrows with the falling of the suns in the scene where Hou Yi shot down the nine suns ("Lady of the Moon"). She thought it was really not easy to achieve such an effect.

When commenting on the singing programs, Ms. Wu was very excited and said, "The singing was marvelous, very inspirational. It purified people's hearts."

Dances Combine Elegance and Gentleness with Masculinity and Noble Spirit

Ms. Wu and her husband thought the Chinese classical dances were superb in expressing gentleness through body language. In their experience, most folk dance performers were female dancers, but this time they saw so many male performers with masculine dancing styles, and they were very excited. Ms. Wu said, "The female performers danced so elegantly and softly, and the male performers were masculine and noble, so generally speaking it was fantastic and wonderful!"

Young Audience Member is Deeply Impressed

Ms. Wu's daughter could not help expressing her feelings about the show. She very happily said, "I feel the shooting of the suns (referring to Hou Yi shooting down the nine suns) was very impressive. The timing was perfect (referring to the shooting of the sun, followed by the falling of the sun on the backdrop screen). The piano was played so softly, it was pleasant to the ears."
