These people started off as public servants, but under the intense pressure applied by the Chinese Communist regime, they were pushed into persecuting Dafa disciples. In the process of destroying the lives of kind, law-abiding citizens, they have sealed their own fates and inevitably faced karmic retribution as punishment. If it weren't for the regime's wicked orders, perhaps their fates would have been different.

1. Policeman Zheng Chundong Fractures His Lumbar Vertebra

Policeman Zheng Chundong, from Chang Paozi Village, Xinzhuang Township, works at the Xinzhuang Township Police Station. He went out of his way to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. In August 2007, he was involved in a car accident on his way to Yushu City, and his lumbar vertebra were fractured. He is still undergoing treatment at Yushu City Hospital.

2. Career Destroyed and Life Lost

Fifty-one year-old Guo Fengcheng was previously a police division head at Fushun City Police Department, in charge of the First and Second Divisions. Under his direction, the First and Second Divisions were actively persecuted Falun Gong practitioners. As a result, the authorities planned to promote him to the position of deputy chief of police, effective in 2008. On December 30, 2007, he died in a car accident on the border area between Fushun City and Qingyuan County. The other three passengers in the car were gravely injured.

3. Government Officials in Car Accident after Forcing a Practitioner to Have an Abortion

Ms. Li Sujie, from Shishan Township, Linhai City, Liaoning Province, is a Falun Gong practitioner. The local police illegally searched her home and found a satellite dish. Li Sujie was arrested. She was found to be pregnant during the physical examination. Against her strong objection, the police and local government officials forcibly took her to the local hospital for an abortion.

As a Chinese proverb says "good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution." At around 3:00 p.m. on January 18, 2008, a major traffic accident occurred on the No. 102 National Highway, west of Lijiapu Village, Jincheng Township, Linhai City. A black Audi car collided with a commuter bus, which the Shishan Township government had just purchased. Three passengers in the car died at the scene. There were seven passengers on bus - four were seriously injured, and the other three suffered minor injuries. Of the four people who were ejected from the bus on impact were the township's deputy director, Liu Yifeng and deputy party secretary Ning Tao.

Liu Yifeng required open-brain surgery and is currently being treated at Jinzhou City Central Hospital. Ning Tao hit a tree, causing a spinal bone split and many fractures. He is currently staying at Linhai Central Hospital for treatment.

4. Police Officer Xiao Jianwei Suffered Sudden Stroke after Repeatedly Persecuting Practitioners

Thirty-five year-old policeman Xiao Jianwei is fromYangjiao Township, Wulong County. From 2006 to 2007, he twice arrested practitioner Liu Banghe. Practitioners told him the truth about Falun Gong many times, and told him not to participate in the persecution of practitioners, but he refused to listen.

In January 2008, Xiao Jianwei suffered a sudden stroke and is now undergoing treatment at the Fuling Emergency Rescue Unit.

5. Policewoman Jin Tao Persecutes Practitioners and Suffers the Loss of Her Husband

Policewoman Jin Tao works for the Wulong National Security Brigade. In 2001, she deceived and arrested a practitioner, who was eventually detained illegally for four years in Yongchuan Prison.

Her wrongdoing brought karmic retribution and she lost her husband, Wang Jian. In 2004, he lost control of his motorcycle, crashed into the Wujiang River, and died.
