(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' note: In both Western and Chinese cultures, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward acts that are in harmony with this principle, while doing things such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Panjin Prefecture Zhou Laixin was a National Guard Captain. He followed Jiang's organization and irrationally persecuted Falun Gong disciples. In 2007, Zhou Laixin suffered retribution and was diagnosed with colon and liver cancer. He died in September, 2007.

Hu Anpu was from Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province. Because he didn't know the truth about the practice, he tried to stop his wife from learning and practicing Falun Dafa. He slandered Dafa and Dafa disciples. Falun Gong disciples often tried to persuade him with compassion, but he did not respond. On the evening of November 5, 2007, Hu Anpu was riding his motorcycle while drunk. On the way back from his old residence, he was involved in a traffic accident. Because he wasn't found immediately, he died after being taken to the hospital. Before this incident, he irrationally slandered Dafa and verbally abused Falun Gong disciples. Prior to his death, he lost his fingers in 2005 at work.

Chen Jihua was a worker at the railway water supply depot in Xiamen Sub-provincial City, Fujian Province. He went along with the Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong. He followed the orders of the local Yongan City 610 Office personnel to monitor Zuo Xiuyun, a practitioner. Chen Jinhua organized and participated in the illegal interrogation of Zuo Xiuyun. He also served as a witness. As there is retribution for good and for evil, Chen Jinhua died of liver cancer. He was only 55.

In March 2006, a truth clarifying poster appeared on an electricity pole in the southern part of Song Village. Villager Jiang Xishun was enraged and tore it down. He also went to the village safety director and demanded that he go to the local police station to report it. In November, Jiang Xishun suddenly fell ill and died.

Student Yu was a secretary of the government committee of Seku Town, Wendeng City. Since the start of Jiang Zemin's persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, Yu actively cooperated with and participated in the persecution. Falun Gong disciples tried to clarify the truth to him, but he wouldn't listen. He died suddenly after drinking in a bar and restaurant sometime between spring and summer of 2007.
