Doctor of Education: The Divine Performing Arts' Show Manifested an Inexpressible Sacredness (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 11, 2008, Doctor of Education Mr. Chang
Qinliang and his wife saw the Divine Performing Arts' fourth show at Chungshing
University. He said they bought the tickets two weeks ago and had been eagerly
anticipating this traditional show of Chinese culture for a long time. Dr. Chang, a former deputy mayor of Yunlin County, now teaches at Feng Chia
Unversity and Chia Yi University. Dr. Chang Qingliang and his wife at the Divine Performing Arts
show. Dr. Chang said, "The cultural wave created by the Divine Performing
Arts' world tour is an inspiration for humanity, values, and belief." "While the world's culture and art are moving toward commercialism and
secularism, the Divine Performing Arts is unique. It is leading the trend to
pursue the source of culture. More importantly, all the programs in the show
manifest an inexpressible sacredness." "The design of the background creates depth and extends the audience's
view. On the other hand, it fits into the story of the piece." He said that
he had visited many countries and cities and had seen many kinds of show. But
today, when the curtain opened, he experienced a purification of the heart. Mr. Chang said he was moved by the force of the drums and the imposing force
of the whole show. Mrs. Chang added that the costumes were very pleasing and
that there was a field of compassion. She said, "Usually he gets tired
after ten in the evening because of his busy agenda. But today he was very
different. It is midnight, and he is still energetic and excitedly talking with
over 40 friends in the education system on the bus." Dr. Chang expressed his respect for the Divine Performing Arts because he
agreed with their values and how to overcome obstacles as displayed in the show.
"Their message is very clear: 'when the ice and snow melt, springs blossoms
are close,'" He said. Chairman of Sing Brick Company: The Divine Performing Arts displayed their
confidence in Chinese culture Jin Lian Shing Brick Co. is the first tunnel furnace brick factory in Miaoli
Taiwan. It was one of the first group of factories to be named a
"Sightseeing Factory" and a factory for a "Creative Life and
Career." The chairman of the board of Jin Lian Shing Brick Co., Mr. Yi Rong
Chang, saw the fourth show at Chung Xing University. He said Taiwan would learn
from the Divine Performing Arts profound cultural content and be more creative
in making Taiwan's culture more appealing to the world. Director of Tourism Association of Miaoli County Mr. Yi Rong
Chang: Taiwan will learn from the Divine Performing Art's profound cultural
content. Mr. Yi said, "I believe if Taiwan can learn spirituality from the Divine
Performing Arts, it will enrich the civilization of Taiwan, and the future of
Taiwan will be better. It could create a new culture--like the blooming century
of the Tang Dynasty--in Taiwan, and perhaps it will make Taiwan culture more
appealing to the rest of the world." He praised the rich historical, cultural and educational content of the show.
"The dancers were excellent because they displayed their confidence in
Chinese culture." Having seen the Divine Performing Arts' show for two years, Mr. Yi said the
show would not only affect the audience but would also have an impact on the
"iron curtain" of Mainland China. "All the performances were delicate and beautiful. This is probably
Chinese culture's best contribution to the world."
