Nantou County Council Member: We Should Bravely Stand Up for the Kind and for Justice (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) The Divine Performing Arts presentations of the Chinese Spectacular have been well received around the world. March 12, 2008, was their last show in Taichung City, Taiwan. Ms. Liao Ziyou, Nantou County Council member, said to the reporter after the show that in Taiwan, no matter which party one belongs to, "as long as we are Chinese, we belong to the same family. We should all bravely stand up for the kind and for justice."

Liao Ziyou, Nantou County Council Member: As Chinese, we belong to the same family and should bravely stand up for the kind and for justice.

Ms. Liao said, "The performance is almost beyond imagination. 'Lady of the Moon' intelligently combines a marvelous performance with modern technology. It is not an easy undertaking to present deep meaning in a dance."

Ms. Liao was most impressed with the the song "De Du," sung by one of the vocalists, and the performance about three Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted, "The Risen Lotus Flower." The show caused her to think deeply about the future direction of human life.

She continued, "I am thinking, if this were the last chapter in this period of history, how should we view this and how should we continue? Originally our county council planned to pass a resolution to condemn the CCP atrocity of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. But some of the council members compromised under pressure. After seeing this show today, I feel that we should take on our responsibilities. I will stand up bravely and propose this resolution one more time to ask our council members to let justice prevail. What the Divine Performing Arts is telling me is that this is what we should do and it is our responsibility. We should let people know about it and have people join us to condemn the CCP atrocity."

Ms. Liao added in all seriousness, "In the park... the scene in 'The Power of Awakening' shocked me. I felt saddened. I got the message that I should stand up bravely. It is the power, the power gods gave me. We have the responsibility to maintain a peaceful society and protect our surviving space."

"I think that, no matter which party we belong to, as long as we are Chinese, we belong to the same family. We should bravely stand up for the kind and for justice."
