Xiaocue was sentenced to three years in Sanshui Forced Labor Camp in Guangdong Province because he used drugs.

Forty days before his term ended, he was transferred and told to guard Room 204 of the "Special Team for Falun Gong" that had been specifically arranged for the persecution of practitioners. Around 11:30 p.m. on November 25, 2007, the guards beat Xiaocue violently because he dozed off on duty. The captain was standing by but did nothing. Xiaocue's lung was injured and his nose bled, but the police still threatened him with confinement and extending his term.

A practitioner explained to him the facts about Dafa when Xiaocue was on duty. He learned that a person needs to follow the principle of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance" and to be good, and that people that do good will be rewarded with good. He wrote a letter to his parents, telling them that he had decided to correct all his past wrongs. He also learned about the corrupt nature of the Chinese Communist government. He noticed that the police would let the big drug dealers come and go as they wished. His letter was intercepted by the police.

On December 24, Xiaochue asked the police for the letter and said to them: "You all know that I am now a new person. But you cannot take credit for that. You guys only force people to work beyond their capacity. A person has to work 13 hours a day and will be punished if the quota is not completed. You are ruthless. Whoever comes here can only be made worse. Thanks to Falun Gong practitioners I have become good. I will do good deeds and look inward when I am faced with conflicts. After my release, I will not take any more drugs, nor do anything bad anymore, and I will not cause my parents anymore misery. It was Falun Gong practitioners' advice that made me cry and moved me. I say that Falun Gong is just wonderful."

A practitioner in a new residential area in northeast China told his neighbor, Xiaobai, the facts about Dafa. After learning the truth, Xiaobai quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

Last December, Xiaobai went out on an errand on his motorcycle and collided head-on with a van at an intersection near his home. The motorcycle crashed and he was thrown for quite a distance. The driver and the passengers in the van were all in shock, and the driver wanted to take Xiaobai to the hospital. Xiaobai forced himself up from the ground, stretched a bit, and found that he had only a minor scrape on his ankle. His motorcycle and clothes were all intact. He said to the driver, "I am okay. Don't worry," and left on his motorcycle.

A few days later, the first heavy snow of the year fell. It was the time for local people to cultivate sprouts. None of the cucumber sprouts that other people cultivated grew very well for one reason or another, but the ones Xiaobai cultivated all did very well.

Xiaobai was very happy. He went to the practitioner to thank him, "Thank you for helping me quit the CCP. I am truly blessed."
