State-Sponsored Terrorism Will Not Hide the Crisis Faced by the CCP
By Zhong Yan
(Clearwisdom.net) With the Olympics approaching, the Chinese Communist
Party has elevated the scale of its own Party-sponsored terrorist-like acts in
all regions of the country. The number of Falun Gong practitioners arrested has
rapidly increased since the New Year. Vehicles entering Beijing are stopped and
searched. Major traffic intersections have police presence established to check
on people. They conduct body searches, bag searches, etc. The CCP is using the
Olympics as an excuse to escalate human rights abuses on a broad scale. Nervous Tension before the Olympics Creates Terror The CCP is very nervous about the Olympics because it seeks international
praise. The people in China have not yet seen the peaceful Olympic spirit
however, but only witnessed the CCP's nervous tension and terrorist tactics to
repress "dissidents." Recent news from Beijing confirms that a large
number of Falun Gong practitioners are being secretly arrested in Beijing, and
around the country. At least 100 practitioners are confirmed to have been arrested in Beijing so
far this year. An inside source revealed that the actual number was much more.
In three days, January 23 to 25, 2008, more than forty Falun Gong practitioners
were arrested. The police never explained why the practitioners were being
arrested and took them to a labor camp to serve eight-month terms. In other
words, they will be released right after the end of the Olympics. In addition to
Falun Gong practitioners, disgruntled laborers, protesters and human rights
activists of all kinds have also been arrested. Many Falun Gong practitioners' homes have been ransacked. Practitioners'
families are also mistreated. The police have ransacked practitioner-owned
companies and factories as well, including for example, the Jinkui Decoration
Painting Company. The police rounded up 28 employees and locked them into a room
to be monitored, then ransacked every room in the company. At midnight on February 26, 2008, 26 Hebei Province road inspection stations
around Beijing resumed operation. All vehicles entering Beijing are searched.
Drivers will have their IDS, possessions, even items in the trunk checked.
Additionally, the police will check people's bags on Tiananmen Square and at
each major intersections. They will even check vehicles on highways going out of
Beijing. Each passenger going to Beijing by train will need paperwork allowing
them to enter Beijing, as well as a ticket (this measure is usually used in the
weeks leading up to major Party gatherings, but this time, it's for the eight
months ahead of the Olympics). With all sorts of excuses, the police received
more funding to use for persecution, harass Falun Gong practitioners, arrest
practitioners' families, and directly mistreat them. Fear Comes from an Unprecedented Crisis "Use terror to seize power and maintain power," such is the
longstanding modus operandi of the CCP. The Party is in crisis. The crisis is not just the unprecedented corruption,
but the uncountable amount of material and spiritual wealth that eight years of
persecuting Falun Gong have cost. The Chinese people are awakening to the truth.
More than 33 million people have withdrawn from the CCP and its affiliated
organizations.. This number increases by 30,000 to 50,000 each day, leaving the
Party fearing for its own existence. From the international world's point of view, the unprecedented crisis in
China's leadership does not only include a bad record on food (or export)
products, safety, environmental pollution, or ecological degradation (which are
all on irreversible decline) but also the bloody human rights record. In July
2006, Canadian human rights lawyer David Matas and former Member of Parliament,
who also served as Canada's Secretary of State for the Asia Pacific region, Mr.
David Kilgour, compiled the "Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of
Falun Gong Practitioners in China," which reported that many practitioners
are being detained or murdered for the sake of selling organs. To this day, more
and more facts are proving it is still happening " Facing this accusation,
the CCP has failed to provide any reasonable response. Another example of what the CCP considers a crisis is NTDTV's Chinese New
Year Spectacular touring the world. Spreading orthodox Chinese culture and
virtue brings the show praise from all over the world, but it makes the CCP very
uncomfortable. The CCP has tried many ways to shut the show down, but in the
end, their misdirected efforts only led more people to see the show. Power of the Truth The CCP fears the truth and those who spread it. The truth exposes the CCP's
true evil nature; the truth enables Chinese people to break free from the CCP's
mental shackles and fear; the truth enables people to become free; the truth
brings forces of justice together to resist evil; the truth enables people to
distinguish right from wrong and to see hope in the battle between good and
evil. The truth has no shape or shadow, but it is powerful. The truth does not need
violence or a fight, yet it can conquer better than a whole army. No matter how
the evil Party uses its tricks, it can never block the spreading of the truth.
Such is the power of truth. March 11, 2008 |
