(Clearwisdom.net) On March 7, 2008, Divine Performing Arts of New York
presented the fourth Chinese Spectacular performance in the city of
Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Local artists said they loved the performance. They mentioned
that the show displayed traditional values including loyalty, filial piety and
benevolence, which made them feel warm and comfortable. What's more, the music
and costumes were beautiful. Lyrics Composers: Experience It with Your Heart; It Moves the Soul Hakka lyrics composer Fu Yeming said, "Divine Performing
Arts gave me different feelings each year." Hakka lyrics composer Fu Yeming said, "I think when watching the Divine
Performing Arts, one needs to experience it with his heart and feel it with his
soul and spirit... a really genuine, compassionate and beautiful human
wonderland. I look forward very much to next year's activities. I have attended
the Divine Performing Arts shows for three consecutive years. Every year, I had
different feelings, and I was particularly moved this year. I am looking forward
to enjoying the show again next year." He also said that the most
impressive piece for him was the "Descent of the Celestial Kings." Dance Group Director: "The Risen Lotus Flower" Was Most Impressive Director of the Cai Mengying Dance Group Cai Mengying took a group of
students to attend the Divine Performing Arts show. After watching it, she said,
"The themes of the dances and the backdrops on the stage were very good.
The music was beautiful. The dancers' movements were great. We all loved seeing
it. Their performance was world-class. The costumes were colorful. The
choreography of the dances was beautiful, very beautiful." Cai Mengying said that she attended the Divine Performing Arts show in 2004
in the United States, and she has recommended it to her students repeatedly. She
said, "Because I find that this is a beautiful thing, when we appreciate
the beauty of it, and when it is presented on the stage, we can be delighted and
pleased. As dancers, we understand what's presented on the stage is not only the
dancers' costume, but also his/her own performance, including the overall
lighting. So, I think the whole lighting scene makes me feel very excited. I'm
not talking about only the dance itself." Cai Mengying said that she loved every piece, because each has its own
different dance music. Music is very important and very beautiful because it can
attract people's attention and flow with the physical movements of the dancers.
Each one has its different characteristics. The drum beats and the "Water
Sleeves" of the dancers were really beautiful. The piece that touched her most was "The Risen Lotus Flower," in
which the Falun Gong practitioners are subjected to persecution, but still
persist in their belief. She learned what the Divine Performing Arts intends to
convey by watching the dances. She added that the backdrop that was integrated
into the performance was so effective, as in the "Lady of the Moon"
and "The Loyalty of Yue Fei." It made the audience feel as if they
were personally in the scene. Cai Mengying gave high marks to the entire performance. She said, "Great
power comes from helping each other as a group, something that's hard to do. In
such a short period of time the show has developed so well, and in addition the
group comes from outside of China. That is awesome and touches people so much.
That is something that is very hard to achieve." Cai Mengying hopes that NTDTV can continue along this path and each year
bring the show's positive influence to society. She said that Divine Performing
Arts embody the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.
Cai Mengying said that she loved today's stories because they were short but
very interesting
