Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zuo Xiuyun from Fujian Province was again sentenced in September 2004. The he Yong'an City Court sentenced her to six years in prison even though she had just finished three years of imprisonment, beginning in 2001. The Communist Party court neither allowed Ms. Zuo to hire a lawyer nor did they inform her family of her whereabouts. Ms. Zuo has been incarcerated in Fujian Women's Prison for almost four years, and she has never been allowed to see her family. Ms. Zuo is very weak, and her arms and legs often shake.
