(Clearwisdom.net) My grandson Yang Yang was born in 2001. When he was born, his face was black and he was diagnosed with heart disease. To correct his condition he would have to wait until he was four or five years old to have an operation that would cost tens of thousands of yuan. My son and daughter-in-law were very worried.

When Yang Yang was a year old someone asked him, "Where is your grandma?" Yang Yang immediately held his hands in the "holding the wheel" position and told the person that his grandma was practicing the exercises. The old lady who took care of him said Yang Yang was really smart and even when he could not speak, used gestures to communicate. I thought that this child was a good person and he might have come to obtain Dafa.

When Yang Yang was a year and three months old, he began to walk and speak. His voice was clear and loud. I often took his hand while he walked and at the same time I taught him to repeat "Falun Dafa is good," "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance is good," "Buddha's light illuminates everywhere and rectifies all abnormalities," etc. He not only shouted these phrases aloud, he could remember them very quickly. When I took care of him, he would read with me. After reading with him for three months, his parents took him to the hospital for an exam: his heart disease had disappeared! Without any treatment, Yang Yang's heart disease miraculously healed, while another child that had a similar disease in my workplace had to have the operation. I understood that our compassionate and great Master had helped this child to recover. Dafa is really marvelous and omnipotent! I can never fully express my appreciation to Master.

When Yang Yang was three years old, I took him to kindergarten every day. I taught him to recite the poems in Hong Yin and also the first paragraph of Lunyu.

On one occasion when I was holding a Dafa amulet(1) he saw it and asked me, "Grandma, what is that?" I told him that this was a Dafa amulet that could save a person's life. He immediately said, "Could you please go save my teachers right away?" The next day, I took Dafa "truth clarification" materials and several amulets and gave them to his two teachers. They both were happy to accept them.

Last year, Yang Yang helped me to improve my righteous thoughts. On one occasion, I had twisted my back, so I could not go out. Yang Yang came to my home and said, "Grandma, don't you usually go hand out truth clarification materials?" He also said, "You need to hurry up and save people! You have to save one thousand people." I enlightened that our compassionate Master was using Yang Yang's mouth to give me a hint and ask me to improve.

Yang Yang is very happy to go with me to hand out truth clarification materials. He has helped me leave materials in other people's bicycle baskets and he works very fast. He is very happy after we finish.

This year Yang Yang went to school. His teachers say he expresses himself very well and they want him to become the class leader. Now he has fewer opportunities to come to my home, but whenever he does I tell him how to be a good person. In school he should not retaliate even if he is beaten or sworn at; he should not be attached to watching children's movies, should do his school work well, should be polite to others, etc. He is very sensible and listens to what I tell him. My grandson is not only healthy, but also very intelligent.

1. Amulet -- In China, practitioners sometimes clarify the truth by giving people something small to wear or cherish, bearing a few words reminding them of the goodness of Dafa.
