Suseong-gu, Assembly Chief of Daegu City, Korea: What An Extraordinary Show!

(Clearwisdom.net) A few weeks ago, Busan KBS gave in to pressure from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and unilaterally canceled the Divine Performing Arts New York Company Chinese Spectacular show at the local theater, causing widespread disappointment for those who were looking forward to the artistic performance. Fortunately the orthodox culture is deeply rooted in people's hearts. During the Divine Performing Arts global tour, the touring company has received sincere appreciation and grand applause from audience members from all walks of life, including people from the arts and cultural society, as well as scholars, professionals, politicians and celebrities. Each and every show was a grand occasion, many with a full house audience. Daegu City has a population of over two million people. They invited the Divine Performing Arts to the Artpia Theater in Suseong-gu, and have resisted the pressure from the CCP.

On March 22-24, the Divine Performing Arts performed five shows, and each and every show was a full house. Even with the theater staff giving up tickets saved for their relatives, they could not meet the demand. The theater had to make an exception by adding temporary seats, responding to the miraculous tickets sales. The head of the theater, Mr. Jin Shenglie, was astonished that all five shows were sold out within one week! He said, "The Divine Performing Arts is a top quality show. We will welcome you to come next year at any time."

This is my first time seeing such a wonderful show!

Seseong-gu, District Assembly Chief, Mr. Jin Guidong in Daegu City, is very busy in his daily work. In order to see the show, he made specific arrangements, but he still missed the first act due to his work. He was surprised and amazed, and sincerely appreciated the show, "What an extraordinary show! I am shocked. This is my first time seeing such a wonderful show. I am very moved. I am so sorry that I missed the beginning of the show!"

It is not an ordinary show!

Mrs. Li Shunying said, "It is not an ordinary show! It conveys information about beliefs, about Buddha. I am so happy."

Mrs. Li Shunying belongs to the Buddha Association in Daegu, is a No. 2 Army Commander, and her husband is a Colonel. On March 24, she came with eight friends to see the last show in Daegu. She said, "I believe in Buddha. I saw many items in the shows content about beliefs and about Buddha. I am very happy. This is not an ordinary show!" The piece "Victory Drums" impressed her very much. It was full of magnificent power.

Mrs. Li Shunying also understood the messages throughout the show, that goodness will be rewarded with good, and evil will be met with due retribution. She said, "People should not create karma, they should repent. If one creates karma, he has to suffer to repay the debt, and I can strongly sense the message." She stated that some items of the show she did not totally understand, but it conveyed to people not to commit wrong doing, and to be kind.

This is the number one show in the world!

Mr. Guo Dongxian is an honorary professor at Kyungbuk University. After the show he said he felt great. He commended, "How mysterious, how perfect is the rhythm of the human body. This is the number one show in the world! I must bring more people to see the show. I will never forget this show."

Background information:

Artpia Theater in Seseong-gu, Daegu City is one of the five large theaters in Korea. It is a high-quality theater for professional performances. After its inauguration last year, it has not had such a grand event. During the Divine Performance Arts shows, the adding of temporary seats to meet the demand was unprecedented.
