(Clearwisdom.net) Five young disciples and their parents recently held a small Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference. Among the five youngsters, some were in high school, some in middle school and also some in elementary school. Some have practiced since 1994, while one began as late as 2005.
Young Practitioner A began to practice Falun Dafa in 1994. He talked about his cultivation experiences since 1999, the beginning of the persecution of Falun Gong. He was only 10 years old at that time. Because his parents and fellow practitioners relaxed their expectations of him, he no longer had a good Fa study environment, so he slacked-off on his Fa study and doing the exercises. With regard to clarifying the truth and offering salvation to people, he sometimes did it and sometimes didn't. He became addicted to TV programs, computer games, and pop music. He managed to sober up after Teacher gave him merciful hints again and again. Fellow practitioners patiently provided him help as well. He then transformed his attitude and became more diligent. Even though the demands of high school were very hard, he realized the urgency of the Fa-rectification process. In school, he studied the Fa early in the morning and late at night. On the weekends, he went home and studied the Fa and practiced the exercises with fellow practitioners. Back at school, he would clarify the truth to his classmates and persuade them to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations. He also sends forth righteous thoughts at the school to eliminate the evil and any factors that might interfere with offering salvation to people there.
Everyone attending the Experience Sharing Conference felt the magnificence of Teacher's mercy. He does not want to leave a single young disciple behind. They shared in the feelings of frustration and happiness of this young disciple's cultivation path.
While Young Practitioner B's mother was pregnant with him, his mother started practicing Falun Gong. Soon after he was born, the horrible persecution began. His mother carried him on her back to Tiananmen Square to protest. She also carried him to neighboring houses and nearby towns to distribute truth clarification materials and speak to people face to face. When the persecution started, he was so young he could only say "Ma" and "Pa." When his parents carried him to Tiananmen Square, he held a small flag with "Falun Dafa Is Good" on it. As soon as he saw the police take his dad away, he shook the flag and shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" Now he is over 10 years old. Even though he can be a little naughty, he studies the Fa with family practitioners every day and is faithful in sending forth righteous thoughts.
Young Practitioner C followed her mother to protest in Tiananmen Square some years ago. She was sent home after her mother was illegally detained in a labor camp. She was five at the time. In the following years, without her mother at home, she did not give up cultivation. After her mother returned, she and her mother devoted their efforts to validating Dafa and offering salvation to sentient beings. As a middle school student, her classwork was not easy, but she still made the time to study the Fa, do the exercises, and send forth righteous thoughts. Except at midnight, she sends righteous thoughts at the preset times with other practitioners around the globe.
Young Practitioner D is an elementary school student. Even though his mom and dad do not practice, he follows his grandparents' supervision and behaves according to "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." He has also told his classmates about the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong. He gives out paper currency with truth clarification phrases written on them to people who come to his home asking for food or money. He also tells them, "Please recite 'Falun Dafa is good' all the time." Sometimes he picks up empty bottles and cans to sell for money. Then he donates the money for the preparation of truth clarification materials.
Young Practitioner E talked about her experience in posting truth materials with her mom, even though she just recently began to practice.
Of course these children have all come for the Fa. In listening to their talks, I felt Teacher's grand mercy and the purity of those who are bathed in Dafa. In the meantime I also felt the responsibility of taking good care of these little disciples. We have all followed Teacher and experienced the process of a nine-year battle against the persecution by validating Dafa and offering salvation to people. As parents and fellow practitioners, we should first study the Fa well and do the three things that are required of us. We should assist these youngsters and accomplish our prehistoric vows to go back to our original homes. With Teacher's support, we can reach consummation. At the same time, we also hope that fellow practitioners from other regions will take good care of their young fellow practitioners and walk well on the cultivation path that Teacher has arranged.
