Taiwan: Tainan County Officials Impressed by the DPA Chinese Spectacular (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net.et) The Divine Performing Arts New York Company is performed their Chinese Spectacular all across Asia, and is now in Taiwan. It is a world-class show. Traditional Chinese culture is displayed in all respects, including dance, art, music, drama, lighting, and costumes. This show is an all encompassing pleasure to the senses.

March 1 was a beautiful day in Tainan City.. The early morning haze was swept away and the sun shone brightly. The audience lined up in front of the Cultural Center with great anticipation.

Mr. Yen Chun-tsao, deputy magistrate of Tainan County, said with excitement, "I brought my wife, children and my mother to watch the show. It is a pity that I missed the show last year. Although Tainan County is hosting a lantern festival, I still managed to find time to come here tonight. It is really spectacular!"

He also indicated, "A traditional performance like this being put on by a dance company from New York reminds us that Taiwan needs to put more effort into preserving traditional Chinese culture."

Mr. Yen commented the Divine Performing Arts high quality performance provided an example to the dance companies in Taiwan with respect to dance choreography, costume design, music arrangement, and theatrical technology.

"The Risen Lotus Flower" performance impressed him the most. This piece expresses the goodness of Falun Dafa. He indicated that the end of the performance, when the Buddha on the stage interacts with the background, was particularly meaningful to him. He explained that he was deeply moved. He said that he had never seen a show like this before, and that there is nothing comparable in the performances by Taiwan dance companies.

Mr. Yen expressed with joy that he hopes that the Divine Performing Arts will come next year so more Taiwanese people will have an opportunity to see such a wonderful show. He not only will bring his relatives and friends, but will also tell others to come and see the show.

Mr. Chiang Shih-min, the director of Environment Protection Bureau in Tainan County, gained a deep understanding of "the enlightenment of one's Buddha nature" from watching the Chinese Spectacular. He believes that Buddha descended to the world to give people a chance to form a predestined relationship.

He continued, "This is an extremely good show, and it is different from other dance shows. On the surface, this show is an expression of traditional Chinese culture. But what impressed me deeply is not only the exquisite dance performance, but also the artistic abilities to convey higher principles

which include purifying one's mind. I will suggest this show to everyone in the future. I will certainly come again, and encourage my friends too."
