Mr. Sun was an engineer in the Chinese petroleum industry, and he said that there was some traditional things around in the early 50s when he was still young. "However, after 1957, it has been very hard to find the essence of Chinese culture."

Acknowledging that it is very hard to portray a story properly within several minutes, Sun said that the choreography of the show was excellent. "You can see that they put great effort into the show, and the music is really Chinese music. Though I know little about dancing, the show was very satisfying and in fact it was fascinating," Sun said.

Mr. Sun said that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has tried all means to eliminate traditional Chinese culture: "I learned about these great legends such as the loyalty of Yue Fei when I was young. However, you won't see shows of these legends in China today. Why? Because the CCP has destroyed the Chinese culture and it has been trying its best to sever the connection between the Chinese people and their great culture."

Mr. Sun's friend Li came to Australia 4 years ago, and he was proud to see how popular Chinese culture is in western countries. "It is very good. Frankly, It is very hard to see such a show anywhere. We are very lucky and we are so happy to see that our Chinese traditions are still being treasured outside China. One can't find them in China." Li commented.

Regarding the content of the show, Li said: "I think it was great. From the hi-tech backdrop, costumes, to the forms, everything was very good. I am so happy to see our traditions being promoted."
