(Clearwisdom.net) On March 29, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) held its 33rd anniversary celebration and the local Divine Land Marching Band was invited to perform. For the very first time, members of the band wore ancient Chinese attire to perform and their performance was well received by the audience.

A sponsor of the university celebration praised the performance of the Band

The Divine Land Marching Band attracted many passing-by students and faculty members to watch. They were surprised by the size of the band and the unique uniforms from court officials of Tang Dynasty and warriors of the Song Dynasty. Two Indonesian international student were delighted to see the band. They said that they had never seen such a huge band and loved the music performances. The two asked many questions about the attire and instruments used by members of the band.

When asked why the band would choose ancient attire for uniforms, conductor Zhong Yu-lin said that they hoped the integration of ancient Chinese attire and modern western instruments would give audiences a fresh impression. "We are all Falun Gong practitioners, and we love traditional Chinese culture and we want to share the beauty of 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance' with everyone."

Ms Hou is a sponsor of the anniversary celebration event. She said that she loves music and it was her first time to see the performance of the Divine Land Marching Band. "Their performance is great, and very professional.

NTUST Falun Dafa Club received a best advertisement award

During the celebration, the NTUST Falun Dafa Club presented an award winning short movie. The club introductory movie was originated, directed and shot by members of the club. It was selected for the Best Advertisement Award and nominated for several other awards during the 2007 NTUST student organization carnival.
