(Clearwisdom.net) On March 16, 2008, officials from 610 Office and policemen in Huangmei County, Hubei Province, forcibly took practitioners Ms. Hu Xuefang and Ms. Liu Yulan to the brainwashing center in Wuhan City. This is the third time that Ms. Hu Xuefang has been arrested. She was released from her previous illegal detention just a week before. Ms. Hu and her sister-in-law Ms. Liu Yulan were released from the Huangmei County Detention Center on the same day.

Around 5:00 a.m. on March 16, instructed by the officials from the 610 Office and Kong Zheng, Chief of the Caishan Town local police station in Huangmei County, a group of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials, policemen, and local thugs led by Gong Hui, Deputy Chief of the Caishan Town local police station, staked out the homes of Ms. Hu and Ms. Liu with two police cars. Without showing any legal documents, they forced open the door of Ms. Hu Xuefang's home, woke her up, and dragged her to the police car.

Ms. Hu cried out for help. Nobody came to stop the police because Chinese citizens have been so frightened by the terrible crimes committed by the CCP over the past several decades.

At Ms. Liu Yulan's home, the policemen deceived her with lies. They asked her to go to the police station and told her that she would be back in the morning. Then several officers took Ms. Liu to the police car. Ms. Liu's daughter, who is an 11-year-old fifth-grade elementary school student, and her four-year-old son were too scared to cry when they saw their mother being arrested. They cried loudly after the car drove away.

Ms. Hu Xuefang and Ms. Liu Yulan both live in Liuwang Village in Caishan Town. Ms. Hu is Ms. Liu's brother's wife. After practicing Falun Gong for just one month, all Ms. Hu Xuefang's previous illnesses had disappeared. She also got rid of many bad habits and became a new person though practicing Falun Dafa. Ms. Hu told people about the wonderfulness of Falun Dafa and clarified the truth about the persecution. She was arrested and detained when she did this.

Ms. Hu has two children. Her daughter is a college student and her son is in high school. Her husband works out of town. She supports her family by farming several acres of fields. She was forced to pay high "accommodation expenses" before her release from each period of detention. It is hard to describe the mental pressure endured by her children and husband due to the persecution.

This time, CCP officials took Ms. Hu to the brainwashing center in Wuhan City, where she was pressured to give up her belief in the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance." The town government assigned one staff person to help "transform" her. She was not released until they thought she was "transformed." When she was arrested, her husband was not at home. Her family was left alone, including her sick father-in-law and elderly mother-in-law. The CCP officials went to Ms. Hu's family many times and forced them to pay high "travel expenses" and "living expenses" for her stay at the brainwashing center in Wuhan City. Her elderly mother-in-law had to borrow the money.

This is the second time that Liu Yulan has been arrested. She became a well-known good citizen after she started to practice Falun Dafa. This good wife and mother was persecuted just because she clarified the truth. The Huangmei County 610 Office, the Police Department, Caishan Town Government, and local police station officers took her to the brainwashing center in Wuhan City. Her arrest cut off the only financial support for her family and left behind two children with nobody to take care of them.

Ms. Liu lived a very difficult life. Nevertheless, officials from Caishan Town and policemen went to her home on several occasions and forced her family to pay their travel and living expenses to Wuhan City.
