Slovakia: Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition in Sala (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) On Tuesday, April 8, 2008, the "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition" opened in Sala, a small town in western Slovakia. In the opening speech, the director of the hosting venue introduced the exhibition, spoke about its history, and mentioned that all the artists are Falun Gong practitioners.

Thereafter, the visitors could view the paintings and listen to their stories, as presented by a local practitioner. After the official precedings, many people showed interest in Falun Gong and appreciated the beauty of the pictures.

The Deputy Mayor of Sala, Mr. Meciar, attended the opening and said that the exhibition left him with an impression of deep distaste for totalitarian regimes.

The exhibition will remain in Sala until the end of April.
