Ms. Lu Huifen lived in Apt 6-1, Building 33, Lancheng Road, Pudong District, Shanghai. On the afternoon of March 18, she was reported to the police while she was distributing truth-clarification materials on Zhejiang Road in the Puxi District. At 7 p.m. on the same day, eight officers from the Huangpu District Police Department searched her home illegally. At present, she is detained in the Zhangjiang Detention Center. Her family has requested repeatedly to see her, but these requests were rejected by the police officers.

Ms. Xu Junzhi, a practitioner from the Xixinnan Subdistrict in Shunyi District, Beijing was illegally arrested at her home on April 3, 2008. Her computer was also seized.

On the morning of April 4, 2008, Mr. Meng Fanwei, a practitioner from Tieling City, was arrested while he was distributing truth-clarification materials. At present, he is detained in the Tiexi Detention Center.

Mr. Zhao Wenbo went to Beijing to protest the persecution against Falun Gong in 2000. As a result, he was persecuted so severely he became disabled. In mid March 2008, he was arrested from his home by seven police officers of Pingliang City. The officers searched his home and seized 8,000 yuan saved for his living expenses, some books, and Teacher's photo. He was detained for two days. Since he could not take care of himself independently, he was released. At present, he lives a difficult life.

Ms. Huang Yuping, about 40 years old, was arrested many times after July 20, 1999, for validating Dafa. She has suffered much mistreatment in both detention centers and brainwashing centers. She was sentenced to a forced labor camp for two years. After she was released, she took care of her 80-year-old father while continuing to practice Falun Gong. On the night of March 31, 2008, she accompanied her father to a dental office. In a superstore close to the dental office, she was reported to police when she was clarifying the truth about Dafa. She was stuffed into a car by three police officers. Afterwards, they searched her home and seized her computer and printer. When she was to sent to the detention center, she was rejected by the Qihe Detention Center, then the Yucheng Detention Center. Later, she was detained in the Dezhou City Detention Center.

On the afternoon of March 30, 2008, Ms. Sheng Guiqing, a practitioner from Qingyun County, called Ms. Zhang Meilan in Weijiawa Village, Qingyun Town. Both ladies are over 70 years old. They were reported to the police. At about 10:00 p.m. that same day, police officers of the Qingyun Town Police Station broke into Ms. Zhang's home and arrested them. During the entire process, officer Liu Gan (male) beat and kicked them. On March 31, 2008, officers of the 610 Office in Qingyun County searched Ms. Sheng's home and seized 13,000 "yuan" in cash. At present, Ms. Sheng is detained in the Leling Detention Center, and Ms. Zhang is in the Qingyun County Detention Center.

Ms. Sun Rencui, 65, is a retired worker. On March 4, 2008, she was reported to the police when she was distributing truth-clarification materials in Hankou City. She was taken to the Jiangan District Police Department. The next day, the authorities of the Yongqing Street Police Station decided to detain her for ten days. She was taken to a detention center in Wuhan City. Ten days later, her family went to pick her up, but learned that she was taken to a brainwashing center for further persecution. Several days later, her 90-year-old mother-in-law could not withstand the pressure from this persecution and passed away.

On March 29, 2008, Ms. He Chaofen and Ms. Zhou Lianmei, practitioners from Dechang County, were arrested in Dechang County. They are currently being detained in the Dechang County Detention Center. It is reported that the two senior ladies are a holding hunger strike to protest the persecution.

On March 16, 2008, Ms. Cai Conghui was arrested by police officers of the Fangshan District Police Department for no reason. Her personal property, including her computer, printer, and scanner, were seized. She was released the same day. However, on March 18, 2008, officers from the State Security Division in Fangshan District, along with Guo Yue (male) from the 610 Office arrested Ms. Cai, who was working, for the second time. She was taken to a clothing factory in Anzhuang Village, Liang Township, for persecution and "transformation." As of now, her family has not been allowed to see her.

From February 29 to March 15, 2008, Mr. Kou Faxiong, Mr. Wen Weilong, and Mr. Wang Fenghua were arrested by police officers of the Linyao County Police Department, the 610 Office, and staff members of the Linyao County Committee. At present, they are detained in the Linyao County Detention Center.

At about 9:00 a.m. on March 27, officers of the Chengguan Police Station illegally searched a practitioner's home in Chengzhai Village. Without providing any excuses, four or five officers pulled and lifted the practitioner and tried to tuck him into the police car. When many villagers came over, the practitioner escaped.

At about 11:00 a.m. on March 28, 2008, Ms. Xiao Hua was reported to police for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. She was illegally arrested by officers of the local police station and taken to the No. 2 Detention Center in Harbin City. This is the second time that Ms. Xiao was arrested.

On January 29, 2008, Ms. Yu Xiaohua was arrested while she was clarifying the truth about Dafa in a supermarket and detained in the Wuchang City Detention Center. In late February 2008, she was sentenced to Wanjia Forced Labor Camp in Harbin City.

On October 28, 2007, Mr. Na Zibo, Mr. Sun Shaorong, and Mr. Chen, all practitioners from Wuchang City, were reported to the police while clarifying the truth about Dafa. They were arrested and detained in the Wuchang Prison. Later, the State Security Division and 610 Office in Wuchang City colluded with Procuratorates to turn them over to the court and sentence them to prison. Their current whereabouts are unknown.

Several practitioners from Yongjia County, Wenzhou City, were arrested on January 19, 2008. Among them, Mr. Chen Hu' s place of detention is still unknown. According to insiders, at the beginning of March, the Zhejiang Police Department dispatched some officers to Mr. Chen's hometown in the Shuanghe District, Yingshan County. In collusion with the local police station, they harassed Mr. Chen's relatives, claiming to be investigating the so-called evidence.

Mr. Li Huanyou from Zhuangtong Village, Yi'an Town, Laishui County, was arrested at noon on April 2, 2008. He is being detained in the Laishui County Detention Center. According to a witnesses, he was not wearing shoes when he was arrested. Officers of the Laishui County Police Department and village cadres of Yi'an Town stole his belongings, including a VCD player, a computer, a TV set, a cell phone, a sound box, and Dafa books, all worth at least 6,000 yuan. At that time, Ms. Chen Shuying and Ms. Chen Shuting, who are sisters, were calling at his home. They were arrested, too. That same day, Ms. Xing Shufen from West Yi'an Village was also arrested. Her DVD player, Dafa books, and some other pieces of property were also stolen.

On March 25, several practitioners were arrested while distributing truth-clarification materials about Dafabv. They are now detained in the Baiyin City Detention Center. Among them, two practitioners' names are known. They were Ms. Cui Jianping and Ms. Li Qing.

On the afternoon of March 30, 2008, three police officers of the Shunwang Street Police Station arrested Ms. Sun Xueying and her husband, who is not a practitioner, and searched their home. Her husband was released that night. She is still in the Zhucheng Detention Center.

Recently, many practitioners in Miyun County were arrested. They were: Ms. Zhang Junling, 50, Ms. Cao Shuyuan, 50, Mr. Zhang Haijian, 40, Ms. Zhou Yucui, 40, and Ms. Shi Xiaolan, 40. Mr. Zhang Haijiang was sentenced to forced labor on the day of his arrest. According to insiders, police officers made a surprise attack at 5:00 a.m. and arrested practitioners when they found the so-called evidence. They also intensified the monitoring of supposedly key practitioners.

On March 9, 2008, Ms. Zhong Yanhong, who lives in Beijing, was arrested in front of the building she lives in by officers of the 610 Office of Foshan City, Guangdong Province. At present, she is detained in the Nanhai District Detention Center in Foshan City and has been sentenced to forced labor for one year. Her family went to see her, but the authorities of the Police Department and detention center did not allow them to see her.

On February 28, 2008, practitioners Mr. Bai Hong, Ms. Song Hongcui, Mr. Qi Changrong, and Ms. Xu Guomin were arrested by officers of the Tanggu District Police Department as well as the local police station. Their belongings were also confiscated. After more than a month of detention in Zhaojiadi Detention Center in Tanggu District, the officers plotted to sentence Mr. Bai Hong and Ms. Song Hongcui to prison.

Ms. Guo Xiuhua, and Mr. Mu Zhongren, practitioners from Zhangjia Village, Hou Town; Ms. Li Xiuhua from Majiacun Village; and Ms. Song Guilan from Tiaogou Village were arrested and taken to Shouguang City and then subjected to mistreatment. At that time, a total of 11 practitioners were arrested and detained in Wutai Township for nine days. Ms. Cui Fuying from Wangyin Village was persecuted so badly she developed a mental aberration.

Practitioner Ms. Chen Xiuying, 59, is from Putuo District, Shanghai. She was reported to police while she clarified the truth about Dafa on January 5, 2008. She was arrested by officers of the Putuo Police Department and her home was also searched. She is being detained in the Putuo District Detention Center. This is the third time that she has been detained. She was taken to a brainwashing center and subjected to mistreatment.

Practitioners detained in the Xindian Forced Labor Camp have been subjected to brutal mistreatment because they persisted in their beliefs. They are Ms. Su Xiufang, Ms. Xue Zhanying, Ms. Ma Yueying, Ms. Xin Enhao, and Ms. Li Runfang. Among them Ms. Su Xiufang and Ms. Xue Zhanying were detained in a small cell and subjected to beatings and verbal abuse by drug addict inmates.

The International Affairs Bureau under the Shaungcheng City Police Department coerced people to declare that Falun Gong is not good. Only then will their paperwork to go aboard be processed. Two months ago, someone got a so-called "Security Handbook," which was put together by the Haerbin City Police Department and the Haerbin Branch of China Mobile. The book contains information slandering Falun Gong.

In mid and late March, Cheng Chao (male), officer of the Guangming Police Station, together with staff members from community offices, and officers of the State Security Division, went to the homes of many practitioners and their neighbors to

interrogate, register or demand that they write "guarantee statements." This brought pressure and panic to these families.

Recently, officers of the Ziyou Road Police Station, in cooperation with community officers, asked local practitioners to provide their photos. They also harassed practitioners with phone calls and home visits. They also investigated the practitioners.

In March 2008, Ms. Tang Tianmin from Naxi District, Luzhou City, was sentenced to forced labor for one and a half years by the State Security Division. She was taken to Zizhong Women's Forced Labor Camp and subjected to brutal mistreatment.

Mr. Cao Jianshan, math teacher from a high school in Yuiyang City, was arrested by officers of the Huicheng District Police Department while he was posting truth-clarification posters on January 1, 2008. Officer Yang (male) of the State Security Division tried his best to threaten and prevent a righteous attorney from making an appeal for him. On April 2, 2008, he was sentenced to a labor camp for one year and covertly taken to Sanshui Forced Labor Camp.
