Finnish Musician: "Returned to My True Self" (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 30, 2008, the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) Company performed at the opening of the Chinese Spectacular in Tampere, Finland. Alexei Pakkanen Euforia, member of a Finnish rock band, said, "After seeing the show, my souls received a dose of great medicine. I returned to my true self and kindness."

The scene "The Risen Lotus Flower" instilled in Alexei the believe in the power of compassion and justice. He said, "I love this scene. We should stand up for ourselves and not be afraid (of the evil.) The man in black suit (Chinese policeman) represented a demon and evil force. We need to be strong and fight against it. The police killed the girl in prison (woman Falun Gong practitioner). Nevertheless, her soul rose up to heaven."

Alexei was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. He is half Russian. He came to Finland at the age of 18. He loves Chinese culture and took up martial art. He was once lost in his life because of his rebellious behavior and the cold environment that surrounded him.

Alexei's favorite scenes were 'The Power of Awareness' and 'The Fruits of Goodness'. "Do you know why I was drawn to them? Because they showed us good endings and their kindness changed their fates."

Alexei felt sincerity in the performance. He thought the artists showed real kindness, "The current western culture has lost its ability to show kindness. The two people put the hat on the Buddha statue! Who is this kind in today's society? People have lost all dignity. The DPA presented the truth through art, which is the best venue in my opinion. The beauty and color of such art is very powerful."

The show freed Alexei from the stress he was under, "The music in the show is especially good, and different from my music that is called heavy metal. The joyous dance with orange handkerchiefs relaxed my soul immediately."

The Buddha's world shown during the Chinese Spectacular show fascinated Alexei, "This is a Christian country. Our heaven is about some people sitting on top of the clouds and playing violins. Tonights show fascinated me. I saw the heaven as perceived by the Chinese. I like those colors and Buddhas. Fantastic!"

"My soul was given a dose of great medicine, just like water that reduces extreme thirst." "The show was a unique creation. It's important that we see the lyrics of the songs. It made me remember Dafa is Good and the highest principles of the universe 'Truth, Compassion, Tolerance.'"

Alexei learned about the importance of courage and persistence form the show. He said, "This is important to me. I want to say it again, you should never give up and hold on to your belief." "Please give the artists my best wishes and tell them that I thank them from the bottom of my heart."
