(Clearwisdom.net) On the night of March 29, 2008, the Divine Performing
Arts (DPA) Touring Company concluded its third show in the Victorian Arts
Center, Melbourne. When the curtain was raised, the audience broke into cheers
and warm applause. Artist from Melbourne: I Saw Something Higher Ms. Lynne is an artist. After watching the performance, she said:
"Great! It's terrific! I can see how much effort the performers made. The
songs are very beautiful, and I love their voices. I was also lost in the drum
performance. What's more, all the dancers are so graceful and highly skilled.
It's just too amazing!" Ms. Lynne also said: "I am an artist. Sometimes when I am painting, I
feel the works were created naturally, and I know it was not originally from me.
I got the same feelings from the performance. I saw there was something higher
above the dancers' movements and songs. It is real. I know that there is
something higher than themselves working when people are performing. You can
tell that." Australian Chinese: The DPA Gives Overseas Chinese Hope. Mr. Lin Liren, who moved to Australia from Taiwan when he was eight years
old, was full of tears throughout the performance. He said: "I'm so happy
today to watch the performance. I'm so lucky and have a feeling that is full of
hope." He continued explaining the reason why he shed happy tears: "Seeing such
a performance, I couldn't stop crying at all. The DPA lets us overseas Chinese
find our own cultural roots. It enables more people to see and understand the
very deep and profound traditional Chinese culture, and gives us hope!" Mr. Lin was most impressed by the program "The Fruits of Goodness".
He said: "The two young men's experience has very deep meanings. Through
this program, people can see the tolerance and compassion of Buddhas that
changed them thoroughly." He continued with a heavy tone: "In China,
because the CCP destroyed the traditional culture, the younger generations
almost forgot their own culture and the existence of God." Social Workers: We Made a Great Decision to Come Today. Social worker Diana and Christine were very happy after watching the
performance, they said: We made a great decision to come here today. Diana and Christine Diana said: "I feel that after watching the show, we all should do the
righteous thing, and things according to our conscience. Just like the
"Chopstick Dance", it would be very powerful if people pull
together." She continued: "The performance is very beautiful. The costumes, musics
and huge backdrop, I've never seen them before. But the most important thing I
want to find out is about the lyrics of those songs. It seems like there are
very strong messages in them. I've been thinking about them for a long
time." Diana and Christine both expressed: "Before watching the show, we were a
little uneasy, because we were worrying that it would be a show arranged by the
CCP. That would have been very disgusting. We do not know Chinese culture very
well, however, not until we saw the program about Falun Gong, did we feel
relieved. We made a great decision to come here today." March 31 2008
