Ms. Lin said that she was amazed and fascinated by the show. She thought that everything, including the program, the lighting and stage design, was great. "I think the Chinese Communist Party has badly destroyed the Chinese culture. Many people don't know how beautiful their culture is and how far-reaching traditional Chinese morality is."

Ms. Lin said with emotion, "We must not forget our own roots. How can you move forward if you forget your roots? You must recover your roots before you know how to establish yourself and move forward."

Ms. Lin thought that the format of dance and music was a great way to present the classical Chinese culture, to bridge the East and the West, and to encourage the understanding of different cultures. "I was very moved! Divine Performing Arts did such a great job of presenting our Chinese culture!"

Divine Performing Arts will stage twenty-one shows in five cities - Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and Adelaide. Dr. Gary Song-Huann Lin, Taiwan Representative, said in a letter of greeting, "The Divine Performing Arts Group is an internationally well-known dance troupe of an exceptionally high standard...This year marks the second year in which this Troupe will perform in Australia. I sincerely hope that those who can attend the performance will enjoy the forthcoming superb cultural presentation as you embark on a spiritual journey towards a greater understanding of the Chinese culture."

Mr. James Tien, Director General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, Brisbane, said in his letter of greeting, "The visit of the Divine Performing Arts Group will bring a cultural entertainment of the realm of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to Queensland. I deeply believe the shows will bring overseas Chinese and our international friends a reflection on culture and art."
