A Young Practitioner: Clarifying the Truth on Chinese New Year's Eve

(Clearwisdom.net) We Falun Dafa practitioners in the Fa-rectification period should do the three things well, maintain righteous thoughts at all times, help Master validate the Fa, and seize the day to offer sentient beings salvation. I am a 12th grade student and will relate how my mother and I successfully clarified the truth one Chinese New Year's Eve.

That day I was to meet a previous middle-school classmate whom I had not seen for three years. This opportunity was hard to come by. I was determined to have her understand the truth. On my way to meet her I was somewhat worried. She studied politics; what if the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) culture had severely influenced her? What if I was unable to clearly explain the truth, and she would not understand? I realized eventually that those were human thoughts, causing the old forces to take advantage of that loophole. I was thinking the way they wanted me to think. I immediately sent righteous thoughts denying their arrangements and became instantly calm.

I met my friend, and, after some small talk, directed the conversation toward the persecution of Falun Dafa. I had not a single trivial thought in my mind and clearly told her the facts about how Dafa is being persecuted. When I finished, she had an amazed look on her face and said, "So that's the truth!" She did not display any obvious objections. I continued, telling her how the CCP was rampantly persecuting people and that people overseas and even those living in China were suing the Party for its crimes. She agreed with me, "The CCP is willing to go any length to hide the truth, all for the regime's benefit." I knew then that she understood the truth. Another human being was saved. I gave her the New Tang Dynasty Christmas Spectacular DVD and a DVD copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. I told her what a tremendous impact the Spectacular has had overseas, how the Nine Commentaries details and truthfully analyzed the wicked CCP, and how this booklet has influenced people. I commented, "Don't you think we ought to be clearly informed about these things?" She nodded thoughtfully, and accepted the DVDs.

After saying good-bye to my friend, my mother and I set off by bus to a shopping mall. Mother had previously clarified the truth there. We left truth-clarification materials and copies of the Nine Commentaries DVDs on the bus. We sent righteous thoughts in order for predestined people to receive the materials. At the shopping mall we figured out ways to place materials in every store we had been to, because we know that whoever would learn of the truth would have a wonderful future. We placed the truth-clarification materials on top of magazines, on merchandise, and in various other places. At first, we did it in crowded stores, assuming that what we were doing was not likely to cause attention. Later, putting our minds in the right place, we truly realized what it meant to those who received the truth, and how precious the truth was. We then walked into stores that had no customers and put materials there, too. I was really happy for those who learned the truth!

Later, after nightfall we were at an evening shopping center where we did the same thing. As soon as an opportunity arose, we left truth-clarification material, and got the job done quickly. We placed the materials at random while looking at the merchandise. By the end of that day we had distributed all the materials I had planned to hand out during my ten-day school break.

That day's experiences gave me a profound feeling of success, based on strong righteous thoughts. It made me further realize that when my mind is not distracted, my mighty power will emerge, nothing will hinder me, and everything will go smoothly. Where righteous thoughts exist, Master will empower me, and everything will go as it should; none of the old forces will interfere.

Clarifying the truth is a most important mission for practitionerss during the Fa-rectification period. We should utilize all kinds of ways to make sentient beings acquainted with the truth. Everything in this world is made for the Fa. We should use all available resources to validate the Fa and fulfill our mission. Time is urgent. I hope that every Dafa practitioner will validate the Fa and offer salvation to the world's people.
