Chinese dance and singing performances. Many audience members expressed their
appreciation after the show. TV actor: I feel uplifted Mr. Tom Oliver, a TV actor, said during an interview, "Being in the
theater business, I love coming to see these shows from abroad. This one has
been spectacular!" Mr. Oliver is a famous TV series actor. Mr. Tom Oliver "I was captivated by this show, especially by the music and dances. I
spent a lot of time in Asia, not so much in China, but I was in Hong Kong,
Vietnam, and Thailand. I stayed in Asia for quite a long time. When I lived in
northern Thailand and northern Vietnam, I often watched Chinese dances on
television." When asked which programs he liked most, Mr. Oliver said that he had many to
choose from. "From the fan dance to the girls with the long sleeves ['Water
Sleeves'] and the one with the waves. That was just beautiful ['Nymphs of the
Sea']. I love that coordination and precision, that wonderful precision of this
ensemble." Mr. Oliver is also a bass-baritone singer. He spoke very highly of the music
and singers in this show He was also amazed by the performance of the instrument
with only two strings--the Erhu. He mentioned that during the Erhu performance,
he was the person who cheered the loudest. He said that he was also impressed
with the soprano. He concluded, "As I watched the show, I felt uplifted. I thought, for
the Australians, 'Don't sit at home and wonder. Pick up the phone. Make a
booking. Go and see the show, the Chinese Spectacular!'" A couple: We enjoyed every minute of the show Mr. Ernest Harry, an engineer, indicated that his favorite program was the
one about Falun Gong. He was deeply impressed by these programs. He said, "Falun
Gong is popular not only in Australia, but also in other Western countries.
However, the Chinese regime prohibits people from practicing Falun Gong. What
the program of 'The Power of Awareness' portrayed about those people's awakening
and their resistance to the persecution impressed me deeply." Engineer Ernest Harry and his wife Mr. Harry's wife told the reporter, "The show was very good, absolutely
excellent. The color and costumes were all extremely beautiful. We have enjoyed
every minute of it. My favorite program was 'Lightness and Grace.' The fan
dancing in it was very lovely. We will certainly come back next year." An audience member from Shanghai: The best show I have ever seen After seeing the final performance in Melbourne, Ms. Zhang and her husband,
both from Shanghai, told the reporter their impressions of the show. Ms. Zhang said, "This is the best show I have ever seen. It was noble,
pure, and moving. It gave people a very righteous feeling." Ms. Zhang's husband added, "This is promoting true Chinese traditional
culture. It has really brought honor to Chinese people. I have never before felt
so proud to be Chinese." Ms. Zhang continued, "I feel this performance is a window to the
five-thousand-year-old culture of China. I think that from this show people can
learn about genuine Chinese people. I feel that such a performance has brought
honor to the Chinese people and truly promoted the five thousand years of the
culture of China. Our sincerest hope is that (the Divine Performing Arts) can go
to mainland China and perform there, to let the Chinese people there see genuine
culture for themselves. This is my greatest wish." A program designer for Neon Light: Divine Performing Arts completely
convinced me about the five-thousand-year-old Chinese culture Mr. Zhang, a program designer for Neon Light, who just came to Australia six
months ago, told the reporter that this was the first time he has ever seen such
an excellent performance. In China, he said, people cannot see such a
high-caliber performance, and more and more people no longer care much for
Chinese traditional culture. Mr. Zhang said with admiration that from this performance, he has learned how
broad and profound ancient Chinese culture is. He said, "I liked 'The
Loyalty of Yue Fei' the most. It made me feel that I had gone back to the
ancient battlefield." Mr. Zhang from China Mr. Zhang indicated that after seeing these examples of traditional Chinese
culture, he was deeply touched. He said, "What also deeply touched me was
the unfair treatment that some very good people have been subjected to. I felt
very pained. I feel that good people should receive good rewards." Mr. Zhang paid particular attention to the visual effects during the whole
performance. He said, "In the first program 'Descent of the Celestial
Kings,' just as it just started, I immediately felt the wonderful stage effect.
In China, I had never seen such a high-tech performance." The Divine Performing Arts' show is a gateway for the Western world to learn
about Chinese culture. The audience members, from the elderly to the children,
applauded from the beginning to the end to express their love and appreciation
for the compassion and beauty of traditional Chinese culture.
