(Clearwisdom.net) April 25, 1999 is an unforgettable and significant date for Falun Gong practitioners. This day nine years ago, over 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners went to the central government compound of Zhongnanhai to conduct a peaceful appeal to ask the government to release a group of illegally arrested Falun Gong practitioners in Tianjin City. They also appealed for the right to peacefully practice Falun Gong exercises in public without harassment from the police, and to legitimately publish Falun Dafa books. On that day, Dafa practitioners took the first step of peaceful protest in order to persist in their belief in Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance.

For nine years Dafa practitioners, whether in mainland China or overseas, have remained steadfast in following the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance, while continually calling upon the international society to investigate the persecution of Falun Gong. They have persevered in holding anti-persecution activities and resisting the persecution of the Chinese Communist Party. For several years, Dafa practitioners in Dusseldorf and surrounding cities manifested the wonderfulness of Dafa to people with a compassionate heart, and also exposed the evil and atrocious nature of the CCP, regardless severe cold or rain.

On April 26, 2008, as each Saturday before, Dafa practitioners clarified the truth about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China to people in Dusseldorf. An information table was set up on the famous Heine Square. This is the busiest commercial region and also the transportation hub. Many tourists from all over the world visit this area. On the left-hand side they set up the exhibitions about the tortures and organ harvesting the CCP uses to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Many passers-by were appalled by the CCP's brutality upon viewing the exhibition. On the right-hand side, there was a signature collection activity and Falun Gong exercise demonstration. The demonstration of Falun Gong exercises accompanied by the beautiful exercise music attracted many passers-by to stop and watch. The CCP's apparent values of "deceitfulness, hatred, and violence" and Falun Dafa's principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" forms a sharp contrast, which further inspires people's sense of conscience and justice.

The approaches used for truth-clarification by Dafa practitioners evolved from one leaflet, and one newspaper, and one language to several newspapers, flyers, photo display boards, and books with multiple language versions, so as to meet the requirements of different people from different countries. During the course of truth clarification, practitioners have become more and more rational and mature, and the truth has been spread far and wide.

April 25, a shining date, inscribed in Dafa practitioners' heart, will also be remembered in the hearts of the world's people.
