When a Practitioner Is Diligent, Miracles Can Occur

(Clearwisdom.net) This story is about how an 84-year-old practitioner from Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province, became more diligent in her cultivation.

After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Gong, this elderly practitioner felt very old and weak. Although a practitioner should do the three things, she only studied the Fa. Moreover she only listened to Teacher's lectures in bed every day rather than reading them from the book. In order to relieve her worries, her children found a Dafa practitioner to look after her and help take care of her daily needs.

The younger practitioner told the older one that she had to take Fa study more seriously and do it more carefully: she should at least sit up while listening to Teacher's lectures. She also told the elderly practitioner that she should send righteous thoughts four times each day at the same times as practitioners around the world were doing it--so she did. The elderly practitioner went to bed early every day, so the practitioner woke her up before midnight and they sent forth righteous thoughts together. The younger practitioner encouraged the older one to persuade her relatives and friends to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. The elderly practitioner did this, and also became more and more diligent.

One day the younger practitioner noticed that someone had underlined the text in the elderly practitioner's Dafa book. She knew that those lines had been drawn many years ago by the former owner of the book. Every time they opened the book they saw lines under Teacher's words on almost every page. It was very hard to remove the lines so they decided they should buy another book. However, they noticed that every day the lines became fainter and, within seven days, the lines disappeared altogether. It was really a miracle! The elderly practitioner then felt Teacher's mercy. She became determined to do the three things well and to be one of Teacher's genuine disciples.

One evening, two days before the Chinese New Year, I distributed some truth clarification materials in public. I walked up to a big iron gate and inserted a bag of truth-clarification materials through the bars.

The materials that I distributed to people were packaged in nice-looking bags, so the majority of people accepted them gladly. As I walked away to continue distributing more materials I suddenly heard a woman's voice from behind the gate saying, "Thank you! Thank you!" When I turned and looked, I saw a lady open the gate with the bag of truth clarification materials in her hand.

I understood that people really are waiting to be saved.
