Mr. Lu Mingjin Suffers Repeated Arrest and Abuse for Persisting in His Faith in Falun Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Lu Mingjin was a resident of Xinzhuang Village in Zhangjiakuo City, Hebei Province. Prior to practicing Falun Gong, he was sent to a forced labor camp twice. Once he began practicing Falun Gong, he became more considerate of others and behaved as a good person wherever he was. For example, he and other practitioners cleared ice and snow from the ground after snowstorms so others could walk safely. He happily sacrificed for others. However, the police and personnel continually harassed him simply because he persisted in his practice.

At around 11:00 a.m. on June 25, 2007, Shenjiatun Township Police Station chief Li Yanjun arrived with a gang of people and stormed into Mr. Lu Mingjin's residence. They ransacked the home and took all the Falun Gong books and materials, and an MP3 player. Lu Mingjin managed to escape.

At 12:00 p.m. on June 27, 2007, the evildoers once again stormed into his home but they did not succeed in arresting him. On June 28, this gang arrived in a police car at the market in another attempt to arrest him. They failed again but have since searched for him everywhere, day and night.

On the morning of September 13, 2007, Lu Mingjin was working at the construction site of the No. 1 Middle School in Zhangjiakou City when policemen Zhao, Liu Weidong and Liang Shan and others arrested him.

On September 21, 2007, at 5:00 p.m., Mr. Lu was sent to the Zhang City Shisanli Detention Center. People from the Gaoxin District Police Department in Zhang City trumped-up "criminal" charges against Mr. Lu and they claimed that the local court had approved the arrest order.

On September 24, Mr. Lu Mingjin was grossly abused until he was close to death. The officials still refused to release him and they sent him to the Zhang City Infectious Diseases Hospital for further mistreatment and persecution.

Lu Mingjin is currently incarcerated in cell No. 104 of the Zhang City Shisanli Detention Center.
