1. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yu Xiuzhen and Mr. Liu Huaxiang Arrested
Ms. Yu Xiuzhen and two other practitioners watched one of Master's lectures in Mr. Liu Huaxiang's home at 10:00 a.m. on May 9, 2008. Personnel from the Beicheng Police Station and from the Domestic Security Division arrested them and ransacked Mr. Liu's and Ms. Yu's homes. The police later released the two other practitioners, whose names are unknown.
2. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Wang Qin Held in the City's Futian Detention Center
Personnel from the Futian District Police Department in Shenzhen City arrested 36-year-old Ms. Wang Qin. She is from Huanggang County. The persecutors ransacked her home and confiscated a computer. Ms. Wang is currently being held in the district's detention center.
3. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Mu Pengcheng and Another Practitioner Arrested
Mr. Mu Pengcheng, in his 30s, from Mujia Village, Chanzhuang Town, Zhaoyuan City, is employed at the town's Cement Factory. Personnel from the city's 610 Office arrested him and put him into the Lingnan Gold Mine Brainwashing Center on May 3, 2008. Another 72-year-old practitioner from the same village was also arrested.
4. [You County, Hunan Province] Mr. Su Niansheng Arrested
Mr. Su Niansheng, in his 50s, used to be an employee at the You County Food Supplies Bureau. He has been arrested for several times. He was reported to police on May 8, 2008, when he distributed Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials in Liankuang'ao Township, You County. Personnel from the township's police station searched his body, but found nothing. The police then ransacked his home and found two copies of "Minghui Weekly." Mr. Sun is currently being held in the county's detention center.
5. [Guang'an City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Police arrested 78-year-old Mr. He Chaowen, 80-year-old Ms. Luo Keyu and 60-year-old Ms. Wang Guanbi from Guang'an City on the night of May 5, 2008. Their whereabouts are unknown.

6. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Li Jinhuan Arrested
Personnel from the Wuhua Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Li Jinhuan at her home in the Hongyun Community on April 21, 2008. They ransacked the home and put Ms. Li into the Wuhua Detention Center.
7. [Longyan City, Fujian Province] Ms. Meng Guizhen Arrested
Ms. Meng Guizhen was arrested on May 8, 2008 and is being held in the Changting County Detention Center.
Ms. Meng had gone to Beijing in 2002 to validate Dafa but was arrested afterwards and sent back to Changting County.
8. [Shuangliao City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yuan Sujun Facing Illegal Sentence
Personnel from the Liaonan Street Police Precinct arrested Ms. Yuan Sujun from Shuangliao City on April 25, 2008 and held him for 15 days. Her family went to pick her up when her detention term expired on May 9, 2008, but the detention center officials refused to release her. It was heard that personnel from the Shuangliao City Police Department have planned to sentence Ms. Yuan to one year of forced labor.
Ms. Yuan and her husband had been sentenced to one year of forced labor in 2000. Police often harassed them after their release. Ms. Yuan's husband then decided to live away from home to avoid the persecution.
Ms. Yuan has an 80-year-old father and a daughter in a primary school. They lead difficult lives. Ms. Yuan has now been arrested and the father needs someone to care for him. The daughter may have to discontinue attending school.
9. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhou Jinghua Put into the City's No. 2 Prison
Ms. Zhou Jinghua lives in the Hezuo Community in Shijiazhuang City. The police arrested her on the morning of April 15, 2008. Ms. Zhou is being held in the city's No. 2 Prison.
10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Man Arrested
Personnel from the Wuhan City Procuratorate department arrested Ms. Chen Man on May 9, 2008. She is being held in the city's No. 1 Detention Center.
11. [Hubei Province] Persecution of Mr. Li Ming in the Fanjiatai Prison
Mr. Li Ming is being held in the Fanjiatai Prison in Shayang City. He should have been released on April 30, 2008. Personnel from the Gucheng City 610 Office arrived at the prison and attempted to transfer Mr. Li to the Wuhan City Brainwashing Center, but Mr. Li defied them.
12. [Pingquan County, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Jianhua and Ms. Yu Xiufen Put into a Detention Center on May 9, 2008
13. [Pingjiang County, Hunan Province] Personnel from the Domestic Security Division Arrest Mr. Yu Zhiping
Four officers, including Xu Qiwen from the Domestic Security Division, arrested Mr. Yu Zhiping on April 25, 2008. He is an employee from the Pingjiang County Business Bureau. The officers confiscated one of Master's pictures, some Dafa books and a satellite TV dish.

15. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
Several practitioners from Nanchang City were arrested between May 6 and May 9, 2008. They are Mr. Cao Yucheng, Ms. Caiying, Mr. Zhu Yunlin, Ms. Chen Shuilian, Mr. Xia Jianming, Mr. Zhang Zhengru and Mr. Li Tai. Some of them have been put into a detention center, while the whereabouts of the others are unknown.
16. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Police Arrest Mr. Liu Shehong and His Nephew
Mr. Liu Shehong, born in 1968 in Xianning City, and his non-practitioner nephew Mr. Liu Jinhua, born in 1977, work in the Bashazhou Waste Collection Market. Personnel from the Jiaxia District Police Department arrested them on the afternoon of May 4, 2008 when they posted Falun Gong truth-clarifying slogans. Police ransacked their home twice and confiscated more than 100 Dafa books and 100 CDs, a computer, an MP3 player, an MP4 player and a sound system.
17. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Lu Xinping Held in a Brainwashing Center
Police officers broke into 52-year-old Mr. Lu Xinping's home in December 2001 and put him into the Jinhua Brainwashing Center in Wuhou District, Chengdu City. They transferred him to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center in 2006 and released him in April 2006. Mr. Lu was held in brainwashing centers for more than five years. Unfortunately, Mr. Lu was put into the Wuhou District Brainwashing Center again in August 2007 and has not yet been released.
Fifty-one-year-old Ms. Xu Xiaorong is a teacher in the Jincheng Foreign Language School in Chengdu City. Police ransacked her home and put her into the Jinhua Brainwashing Center in the Wuhou District on August 1, 2007. Ms. Xu has not been released.
18. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Kaiming Arrested
Xing Baochang and Han Shilong, from the Gaocai Police Station, and Wang Guolin from the Residential Committee Office arrested Mr. Wang Kaiming, who is employed by the Liaohe Oilfield Oil Extraction Factory in Panjin City.
19. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Mingliang Arrested
A group of policemen broke into Mr. Wang Mingliang's home in Dianzi Town and arrested him at 10:00 p.m. on May 5, 2008.
20. [Kaifeng City, Henan Province] Mr. Luo Tong Arrested
Mr. Luo Tong is an employee from the city's National Tax Bureau. Personnel from the Luoyang City Domestic Security Division found Falun Gong information in his MP3 player and removable disc. They arrested him and put him into the city's detention center.
21. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Police Arrest Ms. Xu Guilan on May 6, 2008
22. [Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
Five practitioners from the Weihe Power Plant were arrested and their homes ransacked on the night of March 14, 2008. Police held them in the Xianyang Drug Rehabilitation Center for 15 days and then transferred them into the Tieyuan Hotel on April 9, 2008. The police beat them and ransacked their home again, and later sentenced them to forced labor. Ms. Zhao Baoying was sentenced to one year of forced labor, and Ms. Yang Liying's term is unknown. The two are currently being held at the Shaanxi Province Women's Forced Labor Camp. Ms. He Chunlan and Ms. Sun Wenxia were sentenced to one year of forced labor, but are permitted to serve the sentences outside the forced labor camps. Police extorted a lot of money from the practitioners.

Mr. Cui Dejun, who is being held in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp No. 1 Division, went on a hunger strike on May 12, 2008.

25. [Huai'an County, Hebei Province] Persecution of Three Practitioners
Three practitioners from Caiguobao Town in Huai'an County were persecuted between April 30, 2008 and May 8, 2008.
Police ransacked Ms. Li Ruifang's home and confiscated a picture of Master Li and a Falun Gong calendar. Mr. Wu Jiping's home was ransacked. Mr. Zhang Jianguo was arrested and then released after being "fined" 6,000 yuan.
26. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Transferred to Another Forced Labor Camp
Personnel from the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp in Harbin City secretly transferred practitioners being held in the Tight Administration Division into the Suihua City Forced Labor Camp.

29. [Ren County, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Policeman Liu Zhenguo from Ren County led dozens of officers to arrest Mr. Zhang Junxiao, Mr. Jia Yukun and Mr. Liu Yaoting from Xindian Village and Liuli Village at 8:00 p.m. on April 29, 2008. The three are being held in the Xingtai City Brainwashing Center.
30. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sheng Min Arrested
The police arrested 60-year-old Ms. Sheng Min from Changxing Street, the Yuanbao District in Dandong City on March 15, 2008. She is being held in the Donggang Detention Center.
31. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
Police arrested Ms. Zeng Sifeng and her husband, Mr. Liao Songling, as well as his son Mr. Liao Zhijun and his daughter-in-law Ms. Zhang Yan on May 10, 2008. About a dozen policemen from the Chenzhou City Domestic Security Division and the 610 Office broke into Mr. Ma Dunshan's home on May 11, 2008. They confiscated a satellite dish, a TV, some Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials and 400 yuan in cash.
32. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Yanmei Arrested on a Train
Police officers arrested Ms. Liu Yanmei from Daqing City on a train from Beijing to Manzhouli on the morning of May 8, 2008 as she listened to her MP3 player. The police put her into the Hailaer Railway Police Station.
33. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Xu Peng from Songyuan City was arrested on April 23, 2008. He is being held in the Shanyou Police Station where police hung him up by his handcuffed wrists to torture him.
Personnel from the Changshan Police Station arrested Ms. Gao Yaru on April 29, 2008. She is being held in the Qianguo County Detention Center.
Chaganhu Town Police chief Song Zitao arrested Ms. Miao Wanxia from Dongyingtai Village in Tuga Town.
34. [Shandong Province] Ms. Li Yufen Held in the Qixia Detention Center
Personnel from the Sikou Town Police Station arrested 57-year-old Ms. Li Yufen and put her into the Qixia Detention Center at 5:00 a.m. on May 10, 2008.
Ms. Li had been already been held in a forced labor camp between 2001 and 2003.
35. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Peisheng's Home Ransacked
Mr. Li Peisheng had been sentenced to five years in prison and was released in February 2008. Officer Liu Weiguo from the Beitao Police Station in the Tiexi District broke into Mr. Li's home and confiscated three Falun Gong truth-clarifying CDs. He later led some police officers from the district's Domestic Security Division to ransack Mr. Li's home in his absence. They confiscated one of Master's pictures, a computer, a VCD player and a TV.
36. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wei Juan Held in the Weizigou Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Wei Juan from Zhaojiazhuang Village in Changchun City is being held in the Weizigou Forced labor Camp. Police refuse to release her under the pretext of the 2008 Olympic Games.
37. [Nanyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Wang Fengwei and Ms. Zhai Ying Arrested
Mr. Wang Fengwei and Ms. Zhai Ying live in Qiuguan Village, Tongzhaipu Town, Tanghe County, Nanyang City, Henan Province. Police from Tanghe County arrested them and their two relatives on April 25, 2008, because they watched New Tang Dynasty TV programs. The two relatives were released after being "fined."
38. [Shanghai] Ms. Shen Xiufang Arrested
Ms. Shen Xiufang lives in Room No. 2-71 in Putiexin Village, Zhijiangxi Street, in the Zhabei District of Shanghai. Personnel from the Hongkou District 610 Office arrested her and ransacked her home. Eighteen more practitioners were arrested from the Zhabei and Hongkou Districts on May 1, 2008.

A practitioner's relative went to the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City to visit him/her. The relative was ordered to fill out a questionnaire. The questions relate to whether Falun Gong is a [slanderous term omitted], whether the visitor is a practitioner and what the visitor's home address is. Those who refuse to fill out the form are forbidden to visit practitioners.

41. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Sun Guojun and his wife Ms. Lu Zhenhua live in Dabahutun Village, Wulantuga Township, Qianguo County, Songyuan City. Personnel from the township's police station, including deputy chief Huang Jinxin, arrested the couple at their home and ransacked the place on April 24, 2008. They confiscated two Dafa books and two MP3 players. A practitioner surnamed Tang from Wulantuga Town was also arrested.

Personnel from the Xiaoyingzi Police Station arrested 40-year-old Ms. Yang Jianhua from Qinglong County on the night of May 6, 2008. The arrest happened as she was distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials in the Dahudian Area.
Five officers from the Qinglong County Police Department arrested Mr. Xiao Yunhe at his home at 10:00 a.m. on May 7, 2008. Mr. Xiao is being held in the county's detention center.
