Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Zhang Lijun from Langfang City is Illegally Sentenced

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Zhang Lijun, a Falun Gong practitioner from Langfang City, was illegally arrested on January 20, 2008. He was then sentenced on May 9, 2008.

On the evening of January 20, 2008, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhang was arrested by officers from the Developing District Police Department, the National Security Team, the Anci District Police Department and the Nanmenwai Police Station of Langfang City. Without producing the legally-required warrant or identification, the police ransacked his home and took his computer, TV, flashlight, wallet, screwdriver, and other tools. They also took some cash, including his child's piggy bank, which contained small change.
