Insights Gained from the Wenchuan Earthquake in Sichuan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) At 2:38 p.m. on May 12, 2008, an earthquake measuring 8.0 hit Wenchuan, Sichuan, causing great physical destruction and loss of life. [An earthquake with a magnitude of 8 is equivalent to the power contained in 1.01 billion tons of TNT, according to the US Geological Survey. Until 2005, there generally was one earthquake of such magnitude a year. There were 2 earthquakes of a magnitude 8 and higher in 2006, and 4 in 2007. An earthquake is measured on the Richter scale, invented by Charles F. Richter in 1934.]

This high-magnitude earthquake shocked the world, and the consequences were devastating. We are asking the world, "Was this truly a natural disaster?" In fact, much of the blame for such high loss of life must be put at the doorstep of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which concealed predictions of the imminent earthquake to maintain "stability" ahead of the Olympic games. Because the people in Wenchuan, Sichuan believed the CCP lies, they did not evacuate in time. This lead to an extremely high number of deaths and injuries.It is now known that scientists predicted the Sichuan earthquake. Additionally, before the earthquake there were abnormal signs, such as tens of thousands of frogs walking on the roads. The authorities however, told the public that everything was normal, and they kept whitewashing "the rumors" concerning an imminent earthquake. The earthquake then indeed happened, and the authorities can no longer hide the fact that they covered up the predictions.One day after the earthquake, the Sichuan Earthquake agency announced, "There is a great likelihood of another earthquake around 6 Ms in the very near future." Xinhua Net made this announcement at 10:27 a.m. on May 16, 2008. Indeed, at 2:50 pm, May 16, 2008, another 5.9 Ms earthquake was felt in Li County, Sichuan. This clearly shows that their predictions were very accurate. Think about it... If they could predict a 6 Ms earthquake, then shouldn't an 8 Ms earthquake, which is of much greater magnitude, have been much easier to predict?

People still remember the prediction of the Haicheng earthquake on February 4, 1975. This earthquake was regarded as a milestone in the field of earthquake studies. The United Nations confirmed that this was an excellent prediction. The death toll from the Haicheng earthquake was 1,300 people instead of 100,000 or more. On August 16, 22 and 23, in 1976, two 7.2 Ms earthquakes and one 6.7 earthquake occurred in Songpan and Pinwu in Sichuan. Because they were accurately predicted, the loss of life and damage to the economy was kept at a minimum. The CCP constantly claims that they support the development of science. Thirty years have passed since the earlier predictions. Does that mean that we have lost the ability to predict earthquakes?It is obvious that the current claim by the Sichuan Earthquake agency about being unable to predict earthquakes is a lie. It was the CCP which deliberately hid the facts. This was a man-made disaster caused by the CCP to maintain "stability" for the Olympics.

Of course, during the rescue efforts, the CCP leaders went to the disaster site in droves, causing many Chinese people to forget the evil nature of the CCP and their unceasing lies. They no longer realize that the CCP leaders sacrificed the safety of the people to strengthen their authority. The rescue efforts, as is often the case under the CCP rule, changed the disaster created by CCP into a political achievement. This is the evil nature of the CCP organizations. What happened was inevitable, considering their evil nature.

If we recall from past history, it is easy to see that the CCP resorts to lies, propaganda, and prioritizing politics to damage the country and its people. In 1960, the CCP caused the great famine, leading to the deaths of over 30 million people. However, they fooled the Chinese people by claiming that the famine was caused by natural disasters. They even claimed, "The bolder humans are, the higher the production of the land." The CCP fabricated news that each Chinese acre of land can produce more than 10,000 kilograms (10 tons) of crops.

Scientists predicted the 1976 Tangshan earthquake, yet the CCP hid the information, causing the deaths of 240,000 people. SARS spread quickly in China, but the CCP hid the facts, resulting in another disaster for the Chinese people.

More than 100 million Chinese practice Falun Gong and follow the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." This practice is beneficial to the country and its people. But the CCP uses the country's money, material and manpower to illegally suppress this practice. They even harvest organs from living practitioners for economic gain. Now, they hide the facts regarding the Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan, which has resulted in disaster for all of Wenchuan.There are so many lies published by the CCP, there is not enough space to list them. They have committed many crimes against humanity.

The hard-working and intelligent Chinese people, in the face of these lessons, need to wake up from their fantasies and illusions and see who speaks the truth and who hides the truth.
