A Norwegian Boy Changes After He Practices Falun Dafa (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) Ola is an 18 year-old high school student. When he was nine years old, he started practicing martial arts, which he did for nine years. Four years ago Ola's parents began practicing Falun Dafa. He followed his parents' example and read the book Zhuan Falun. However, at first he did not really cultivate.

A month and a half ago, Ola began to actually cultivate. He said, "Now I am a genuine Falun Dafa practitioner and I will behave as a cultivator should."

18 Year-old Ola

After seriously practicing for one and a half months, Ola enlightened to this understanding of the Fa principle: "The key in cultivation is to improve xinxing." He said, "In the past, I needed others to feel that I was important and I did a lot of things to attract others' attention. In addition, I especially paid attention to working out. Now I eliminate these thoughts and my inner heart feels free. I am becoming peaceful and my bad temper has disappeared. I can also be considerate of others because I understand why I am here and I now have a deeper understanding of life."

During the past month and a half, Ola has made great changes in his ways of thinking and behavior. His parents and friends have all noticed. People around him have noticed that he is becoming compassionate and peaceful. His mother also noticed because Ola even began to help her with the housework.

As soon as Ola decided to truly cultivate, he gave up his practice of martial arts even though he had done it for nine years. He felt that practicing martial arts would bring about a competitive mentality and this type of mind-set should be eliminated for a cultivator. He feels that cultivation should be the most important thing in his life.

Now Ola treats everything that happens in his life as a test on his cultivation path. While a conflict occurrs, Ola does not get annoyed anymore, but instead treats it as a good opportunity for cultivation. Before becoming a cultivator, he always weighed things subjectively, from his own viewpoint. However, after taking up the practice, he has learned to weigh things with the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."

Over the past month and half Ola has studied the Fa and done the exercises every day. He has read Zhuan Falun four times and has also read Master's other books. He started to clarify the truth in his school and even introduced Falun Dafa to his classmates. He clarifies the truth about the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. He has the support of the teacher in charge of his class, so he intends to go to all the classes to clarify the truth to them. After some of Ola's friends learned the facts about the persecution, they helped Ola to clarify the truth. Their teacher suggested that they should write a letter to the chairman of the Olympic Committee in Norway and urge them to voice their concern about the persecution in China.
