(Clearwisdom.net) I felt saddened when I saw so many reports on the Clearwisdom website of practitioners tortured during force-feeding while on hunger strikes. In my opinion, a hunger strike is a way of protest used by everyday people, and these practitioners didn't see through the persecution. It's true we are cultivating in everyday people's society, but we are not everyday people, so we cannot remain at everyday people's level to struggle against the persecution for a long time.

Amid the evil persecution we should first fortify our righteous thoughts by "following the Fa as Teacher." Master had said in "Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference,"

"If upon encountering trying circumstances your thinking can be truly righteous, then, when faced with the evil's persecution and when faced with interference, just one sentence of yours fortified with steadfast righteous thoughts can instantly make the evil disintegrate (applause), and it will make those who are being used by the evil turn and flee, it will make the evil's persecution of you dissolve, and it will make the evil's interfering with you disappear without a trace."

If a practitioner can keep his or her thoughts based on the Fa at every moment, sends righteous thoughts diligently to disintegrate the evil, and if all the practitioners can do the same and form one body, will the evil still exist?

Master told us a long time ago that we should "Stop the Evil Acts with Righteous Thoughts!"

"When Dafa disciples have strong righteous thoughts and no fear, they can use righteous thoughts to turn the tables on the evildoers. Whether it's when the wicked policemen are using electric batons or when bad people are injecting drugs to persecute you, you can use your righteous thoughts to redirect the electric current or the drugs back to the person doing violence to you."

"While sending righteous thoughts, don't panic or be afraid, and as long as that wicked person keeps being violent, keep sending righteous thoughts." ("Stop the Evil Acts with Righteous Thoughts")

Why don't we use the supernatural abilities Master gave us? We are mighty gods, as tall as the heavens and incomparably noble. The aggressors are rotten demons. One righteous mind can subdue one hundred evils. What we're doing is the most righteous; then, who on earth is afraid of whom? It should be them who are afraid of us. Master also told us,

"Imprisoned as you are,
don't be sorrowful or sad
Carry on with righteous thoughts and actions,
and the Fa is with you
Calmly reflect on the attachments you have
Remove your human thoughts
and evil will naturally die out"
("Don't Be Sad" in Hong Yin Volume II, translation version A)

What a wonderful Fa! As long as we follow the principles and make sure our very thought is on the Fa, then we will never fail. As long as our thoughts are based on the Fa at every moment, we are safe. If all Dafa disciples can do this, then the evil will not be able to persecute us and the persecution will end.
